Algerian Prime Minister Ahmed Ouyahia said that the family of the late Libyan Colonel Muammar Gaddafi will remain in the country, "as long as they want."
Ouyahia said in an interview with the French newspaper (Le Monde) published on Friday: "They will stay here as long as they want, I'm pleased to tell you that our Libyan neighbors understood it in the end."
"It is unacceptable in our tradition to expel a neighbor family which comes to our home to evade hell."
He continued, "we have the knowledge that they would not carry out any adversely inflammatory act in their capacity as Libyan citizens, we have reached an agreement about that".
