PROPAGANDA ala HOLLYWOOD STYLE ( part III)

PROPAGANDA ala HOLLYWOOD STYLE (part I) -->

Especially in the cities of the jihadist hotbed in the northeast of Libya, Benghazi, Ajdabiya, Al Beida, Derna and Tobruk, – justifying it’s actions with the false black mercenary allegation – lynch mobs were hunting black people, arresting, mistreating and killing black people in the most ugly ways with knives. As many people in wealthy Libya have mobile phones with cameras the crowds videotaped such crimes an uploaded videos to social media sites as signs of victory.
There are many more such videos of such horrific deliberate crimes of the „rebels“ – often racist murders commited against helpless black people which were already handcuffed. Every and each government has not only the right, but also the duty to stop such murderous lynch mobs – and the government should exercise the amount of force that is necessary to stop such lynch mobs.

Now, let’s have a look of what is alleged to be proof a horrific crime of the government forces loyal to Muamar Gaddafi. See here two screenshots of a video, 1:06 min long, showing alleged crimes of Gaddafi loyalists. YuoTube link ->

Screenshot: Second 15 of a 1:06 min long Video Look at this screenshot well and remember. See that between the three killed men in uniforms there is an empty place in the middle, bloody were a head may have been laying.
Screenshot: Second 39 of 1:06 min long Video Look at this screenshot well, and remember, too. Ask yourself: what kind of weapon has been used to cause that kind of injury?
The video, posted on many video channels and titled for example „GRAPHIC Lybian Soldiers Executed – By Gaddafi’s Mercenaries – Libya – Smuggled Video“, was uploaded to Youtube on 23rd of February. The description of the video reads – at the Youtube channel SurvivalWithBushcraf:
Soldiers tied up and executed by Gaddafi mercenaries for refusing to kill protesters! Reuploaded from … WARNING Extremely graphic video smuggled to an Al Jazeera reporter across the border in Libya. This is evidence of crimes against humanity which the world should know about especially the West. The information given is that these are soldiers who refused to kill their own people so they were tied up and executed.
The video shows about 18 government soldiers and security forces, most of them with their hands handcuffed on the back brutally and bloodily slaughtered. The deads are shown close up and other people as the slaughtered are just seen in the last seconds. Comments below the video read like „Gaddafi is a devil they should burn him alive.“ Nobody questioned who were the devils who commited this crime. It was „Gaddafi mercenaries“ slaughtering security forces because they didn’t want to kill such peaceful freedom and democracy demonstrators as the participants of the islamic lynch mobs seen above.
How did the world know?
Please note, that Libyafeb17.com has removed the video embedding and that someone who said he is admin of Youtube channel WadiTR, created February 18, 2011, has given a comment, declaring that he is the „admin of the YouTube Page that posted this Video“. So the world was set up to believe, that Libya is the only dictatorship in the world, were the brutality of the dictatorship is not proven by massacred peaceful protesters, but proven by a video showing masscred government forces. Of course, that’s bullshit.
It can be proven. Other videos of this horrific crime scene do exist, too. See here a video, probably taped by a different person, which is 55 seconds long. Watch it well.

The video shows allegedly „rebels“, who found the soldiers, which were slaughtered by Gaddafis mercenaries because they refused to kill their fellow Libyan people. Have you noticed something? Here is a screenshot of second 10.

Screenshot: Second 10 of 0:55 min long Video
This white skinned guy is badly injured, but he moves his hand, so he is still alive. The guy is lying exactly at the place were in the 1:06 min long video is an empty space. Look at the screenshot. The guy still living is videotaped in close-up, but neither the camera man nor anybody else of these sympathic human rights and democracy rebels seems to help him.
Didn’t they notice, that he he still alive?
More videos of this horrific crime scene do exist. See here a video, probably taped by a different person, which is 1:25 min long. Watch it well, too.

Have you seen? Look the screenshot of 1:18 min.
Screenshot: Minute 1:18 of 1:25 min long Video
Someone who – like all of the people present at the crime scene in this video as in the last video, you can hear men and at least one woman speaking with each other in the background – doesn’t want to come into the picture, gives the guy, who is still living, a bit water
But nothing more. Nobody cares trying to stop him bleeding. Nobody cares for him, fo example speaking with him to keep him awake until – maybe – an ambulance comes.
Have you ever seen an accident on the street where people were injured?
What kind of people would behave this way?
It’s easy to say: murders behave in such a way.
What we have seen here in these videos are the murders taping the fresh crimescene of their own crime to publish the video and blame this horrific crime on Gaddafi.
The guy who is still living is the same guy, who was lying at a different place and whose head was completely smashed in the 1:06 min long video. See the screenshot and compare.
That means that the head of this guy was smashed after the „rebels“ taped the crimescene when he was still living. „Rebels“ smashed his head after the 0:55 min and the 1:25 min long videos were taped.
You still don’t believe what you see?
So see this video, it shows some of the victims still alive – together with some of the people who overwhelmed them. The video was made in the night – as the victims didn’t redress in the meantime, probably shortly before their were killed. Watch closely:

Do you remember this guy? His pullover is very specific.
Now have a look of a weapon used by the people, who took the soldiers hostage before they were killed.
Screenshot: Minute 4:32 of 11:51 min long Video
The big black guy, who is among those later slaughered, is threatened with kind of a wooden club, an iron rod or a sword. Hard to say from the video what it is exactly, but such a weapon could probably cause such injuries as we have seen in the massacre of the captured soldiers.
Now look at those who took the soldiers hostage before they were slaughtered.
Screenshot: Minute 5:02 of 11:51 min long Video
The soldier in the front is one of those who is saughtered later. He is upset, and someone – probably a woman – is laying a hand on his shoulder to calm him down. In the background at the left the guy with the black woolen hat is clearly one of the captors.
Screenshot: Minute 5:04 of 11:51 min long Video
The guy with the white jacket is one of the captors. The person with the camera is clearly trying to avoid to tape him on video, but at one time he slipped into the picture. If you watch the video closely at these seconds where he appears, you can see, that he has got a long gun in his right hand. In the background we can see the window. It’s night and some people are in front of the window watching the crime scene.
Screenshot: Minute 5:28 of 11:51 min long Video
A very young man is shown who covers his face partly with a scarf so he will be a bit harder to recognize if the police will looking for him for taking soldiers hostage, who are killed later in a barbaric manner. He is one of the captors.

Screenshot: Minute 5:35 of 11:51 min long Video
This person remains a mystery so far. It’s just an arm. It’s probably the person who videotapes the hostage taking. As this screenshot was taken, a female hsotage taker argues heavily with the big black guy, who is later among the dead. So, the person who took the video is most probably a woman. But she is never to be seen in the picture because it is her, who tapes the video.
That hostage taker people are clearly not Gaddafi special troops. These are rebels, taping their own hostage taking crime. An later they tape the crimescene of the massacre, which they committed themselves.
They published the videos of their own crimes and labeled them „Crimes of Gaddafi“.
This is interesting enough. What is even more interesting is that this pattern is to be seen in different places in Libya. Rebels murder people, soldiers and Gaddafi supporters, tape their crime, publish it on social media sites and label it „Crimes of Gaddafi“.
Check your favorite search engine t find more such alleged Gaddafi crimes which are in fact rebel crimes.
Think yourself: if it’s true somebody has organzied this uprising in this way, which is clearly a murderous and brutal campaign of the most racist and disgusting people around there.

PROPAGANDA ala HOLLYWOOD STYLE (part II)

What is done to Libya is a giant crime containing: waging a war of aggression to rob out an independent nation and to maintain hegemony in Africa, a campaign of horrific murders and psychological warfare to deceive the Libyan people and the people of the world.
Let’s have a closer look what did the propaganda tell the world and what really happened in Libya. Here is a timeline containing some relevant events in relation to the war against Libya, showing that the actions against Libya are based on nothing else than lies.
2002: The U.S. State Department launched the „MEPI“ program that was ostentatiously designed to support „reform efforts“ in the arab world. It supported a wide range of government opponents there for transition to freedom, democracy an human rights the way the U.S. liked to have it. It’s aim was to build up more and more US-led impact on opposition against US-sponsored regimes over the the years, so that when a country was ready, the U.S. could replace a U.S. sponsored dictatorship with a new U.S. sponsored regime. Libya was one of the programs targets.
2003: The U.S. military designated Libya along with other countries as targets for regime change by military means. In the same years the U.S. collected a coalition of the willing and launched a war of aggresion against Iraq which was based on obvious an broad propaganda lies of Iraq possesing weapons of mass destruction. Seeing the destruction and the threat against Libya, Libya abandoned all millitary programs to gain effective weapons of deterrence, paid the U.S. compensation for crimes Libya never commited, allowed western companies to exploit a part of Libya’s oil wealth and collaborated with U.S. attempts to crush islamic resistance against U.S. imperialism worldwide. These openings helped the U.S. to get foot into Libya to manifacture regime change.
2003 – : Though the US-led wars against Afghanistan and Iraq were a desaster for the U.S., the change program for the arab world was pursuid. Leaked U.S. state department records have shown, that the U.S. government secretely supported government opponents in the arab world to help them change their governments with the support of the US-government. In Libya the U.S. used their limited presence to get close contacts to Libyan officials from regions dominated by tribes traditionally opposed to the government in Tripoli like justice minster Mustafa Mohammad Abduljalil, who pledged opposition to talks and preferrend action against the Libyan government.
May 2005: According to Wikipedia the Organizing Committee for the National Conference of the Libyan Opposition (NCLO) held a series of weekly meetings to discuss and develop an agenda for a conference „to put together practical approaches for following up on many efforts made by various Libyan political groups and individuals in their challenge of the Libyan dictatorship“ of Muammar al-Gaddafi. Until recently Wikipedia knew that the NCLO consists of the „Libyan Constitutional Union“, a London based revanchist organisation led by Muhammad as-Senussi, a pretender to the British sponsored Libyan monarchy, the so called „Libyan League for Human Rights“ based in Geneva, the so-called Libyan Tmazight (Berber) Congress residing in a postbox in England, and the NFSL, which is notoriously known for being sponsored by the CIA. The NCLO uses the flag of the Libyan monarchy overthrown by the Fatah revolution led by Muamar Gaddafi as the flag of their organisation as the so called „rebels“ do now.
February 15th, 2008: US Embassy in Tripoli reported to Washington, that claims by senior Libyan government officials that the islamic extremistic east of Libya is under control may be overstated. The most zealous imams tend to preach in numerous small suburban and rural mosques, which oftenly don’t physically resemble traditional mosques elsewhere in the country, reflecting in part the pseudo-secret tradition of the Sanussi lodges and are thus hard to be identified and monitored by Libyan security forces. Sermons in eastern mosques, particularly the Friday ‘khutba’, are laced with „coded phrases“ urging worshippers to support jihad in Iraq and elsewhere through direct participation or financial contributions. The language is often ambiguous enough to be plausibly denied, he said, but for devout Muslims it is clear, incendiary and unambiguously supportive of jihad. Direct and indirect references to „martyrdom operations“ were not uncommon.
August 2010: U.S.-preparations for a broad U.S.-led regime change campaign in the arab worlld were in a final stage. US-president Barack Obama issues the „Presidential Study Directive 11″, asking US government agencies to prepare for regime changes in the arab world. U.S.-Israel lobbyist David Ignatius wrote in March 2011: This document cited „evidence of growing citizen discontent with the region’s regimes“ and warned that „the region is entering a critical period of transition.“
October 20, 2010: Former Gaddafi loyalist Nouri Massoud El-Mesmari, went into exile in France and persuaded the French secret services to use his contacts to plan a regime change operation in Libya.
November 2, 2010: France and UK pledged to unify their military and started the military exercise „Southern Mistral, a wargame, which foresaw French and British warpans bombing a southern mediterranean country in March 2011 after getting a UN security council resolution allowing the attack.
December 17, 2010: After the self-immolation of Mohamed Bouazizi on 17 December in Tunisia protests are held against poverty and the currupt government and in favour of free elections and freedom of speech. To avoid the protests look like being driven by western propaganda, the media work for the protests almost completely over US-based social network sites like Twitter and Facebook. The Tunisian goverment reacted to the protestings with meaningless TV speeches and violence of the security forces to crush all protests. In the forefront for the media work for the Tunisian uprising were social media activists financed and trained by organisations of the US establishment like Freedom House and American Islamic Congress. Scott Carpenter, GW Bush’s point man of his MEPI regime change program, publicly confirmed that the U.S. had done a lot of stuff to prepare the uprising in Tunisia and that did it very quietly, almost covert.
January 2011: Containers full of weapons, ammunition and explosives and around 1000 Thuraya mobile phones were smuggled into Libya through the port of Misrata and distributed with the help of Al-Naseem icecream Factory owned by Raiedha family clan.
January 13, 2011: Rachid Ammar, Chief of Staff of the Tunisian military with good contacts to the U.S. millitary, declared that he sided with the uprising. As his troops proved to be loyal to the chief of stuff in this situation and the military had more men and fire power than the police and the Tunisian presidents security forces, with the defection of Rachid Ammar the US led regime change operation in Tunisia successfully ousted long term Tunisian president Ben Ali a day later. After Ben Ali was ousted the western media machine was put into full swing to instigate uprisings leading to regime change in other MEPI target countries as well.
January 25, 2011: Western mass media and the media network Al Jazeera based in the US client dictatorship Qatar successfully promoted an anonymous female Facebook call for mass protests in Egypt against police violents and government corruption starting on January 25, 2011 (After regime change in Egypt was completed, it was revealed, that the name of the „Facebook girl“ is Esraa Abdel Fattahan activist who won an award of the notorious US regime change organization Freedom House in June 2010). The following day the Egypt Muslim Brotherhood kicked in and called it’s members and friends to support the uprising against the regime of Hosni Mubarak. Egypt security forces reacted with brutal violence against protesters, killing hundreds of them, and deliberate false flag violence of security forces in plain clothes against the population to justify the violence to crush the protests.
Media work for the uprising was led by Al Jazeera. Western government officials up to US president Barack Obama openly and publicly supported the uprising, making no secret that they demanded president Hosni Mubarak to step down. While branches of the military like the Air Force were loyal to president Husni Mubarak military forces loyal to General Sami Hafez Enan, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, who was the week before the Egyptian uprising started in the U.S. for talks with senior officials, prevented the Egypt uprising to be crushed by security forces in it’s central meeting place, the Tahrir Square in Cairo. To prevent a war between different branches of the military, the Egyptian military council staged a coup on February 11, 2011, oustind president Hosni Mubarak and empowering itself.
February 15, 2011: Two days ahead of an announced uprising on Facebook, violent protests in Benghazi were seen in front of the state secuity building in support of the recently arrested lawyer Fethi Tarbel, who represents victims of the 1996 Abu Salim prison uprising mass killings case

The protests were dispersed by security forces without any loss of life, but leaving some 38 people injured. According to France 24 quoting Benghazi-based, privately-owned Quryna newspaper, which itself quoted Abdelkrim Gubaili, described director of a local hospital, most of the injured were security officials.
France 24 cited in it’s also unnamed „witnesses“, of whom France 24 said, their reports are „hard to confirm“, who alleged, that „security officials were driving their cars into the crowd at high speeds.“ France 24 also embedded than a Youtube video of what it said: Unconfirmed YouTube footage from Tuesday morning shows protesters gathering outside a Benghazi police station when panic sweeps the crowd and gunshots are heard.“ Though the video was unconfirmed, a gun shot sound track can be easily added to a video, and the allegation of security forces shooting into the crowd contradicted all infomation from named sources, the link to this video was spread widely over social media, often called proof that „Gaddafis security forces“ fired into the crowd. Interestingly, this video allegedely proof for „Gaddafis crimes“ at the beginning of the uprising in Libya, was in the meantime – as Youtube informs – „removed by the user“. This video FAKE was one of the means to incite people to violence in Libya for the planned uprising.
February 17, 2011: Planned start day for the Libyan uprising. As the anonymous Facebook-page calling for a day of rage ,  violent protests, used the flag of the monarchy as it’s symbol it made it clear from tee beginning, that not bringing Libya to „prosperity“, as it claimed, but a counter revolution violently overthrowing the Libyan government was the goal. The NCLO takes credit for organizing the uprising. Qatari Al Jazeera, Saudi Al Arabia and western media stations reported on this Facebook page, thus informed many million people of the planned uprising.
In various cities of Libya, some hundred to several thousand people have shown up for protests against the government. Others have shown up in government organzied ralleys showing support for the Libyan government. Fake news spread via Al Jazeera by anonymous callers on alleged government atrocities against anti government protesters heated up the mood of crowds as did the fake video of government forces firing into crowds from February 15th.
One of the most powerful false allegations against the government was the murderous false rumour spread by racist defector Ali Abd-al-Aziz al-Isawi, Al Jazeera, Al Arabia, Press TV, anonymous social media accounts and most western mass media that the government used „African merceneries“ to crush the uprising.
When human rights watch later send Peter Bouckaert to speak with black people arested by „rebels“ as mercenaries and investigate the claim, he found no evidence for the „rebels“ allegation, that the government used merceneries at all. Instead he found out, that all 156 captured black people captured by „rebels“ and presented to him as black mercenaries, were in fact regular Libyan soldiers coming from the south of Libya, were most people are black.
Especially in the cities of the jihadist hotbed in the northeast of Libya, Benghazi, Ajdabiya, Al Beida, Derna and Tobruk, – justifying it’s actions with the false black mercenary allegation – lynch mobs were hunting black people, arresting, mistreating and killing blck people in the most ugly ways with knives. As many people in wealthy Libya have mobile phones with cameras the crowds videotaped such crimes an uploaded videos to social media sites as signs of victory.?!?

Here are some videos showing some of the murderous crimes and atrocities against black people committed by western and arabic backed islamist „rebels“ under the cheering of enraged islamic crowds in these days in the northeast of Libya.
Here is one uploaded February, 19th:
You can find this video like  "African Mercenary Killed in Libya 2" --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_s91AvXP2XQ&feature=player_embedded&skipcontrinter=1

Here is one video posted on February, 23rd, showing „rebels“ who captured a black man in a workers dress:

Here is one more video showing what kind of racist crimes against black people the so called eastern Libyan „rebels for freedom an democrcy“ have committed – and it shows the cheering crowd as well.
Here is one more video showing a murderous crime of the racist lynch mob, which western and arab propaganda dubs „peaceful protesters“:

There are many more such videos of such horrific deliberate crimes of the „rebels“ – often racist murders commited against helpless black people which were already handcuffed. Every and each government has not only the right, but also the duty to stop such murderous lynch mobs – and the government should exercise the amount of force that is necessary to stop such lynch mobs.
Now let’s have a look what is allegdely crimes of Gaddafi against his own people. Here is a typical video taping of these alleged crimes:
We hear hat is alleged to be gutshots on young people protesting in the streets. Nobody knows if the gunshot soundtrack of the video is real or if it is fake. We see that the camera man is making hectic moves with his camera. It may be deliberately done to give the video more action. We see no one hurt. See the videos of mobs lynching black people above. Even if the shots are real they might be just warning shots. Knowing what horrific crimes lynch mobs of young people just committed publicly in the streets, firing warning shots could hardly be labeled as a disproportionate response to disperse a crowd of a racist lynch mob.

(V) BURNED SOLDIER (+18)

This is black Libyan soldier from Zalah Town. He was killed in the eastern region of Libya. Some rebels claimed that he was mercenary, but after they checked his ID they found that he was Libyan
First they killed him and after that they tried to burn his cadaver
Then one of the rebels told others that burning the cadaver is a sin (HARAM) in Islamic religion and he asked for blanket to cover body of the murdered sodier.

AL QAEDA and LIBYAN REVOLUTION

A new report from two French think tanks concludes that jihadists have played a predominant role in the eastern-Libyan rebellion against the rule of Moammar Qaddafi, and that “true democrats” represent only a minority in the rebellion. The report, furthermore, calls into question the justifications given for Western military intervention in Libya, arguing that they are largely based on media exaggerations and “outright disinformation.”

Al Qaeda in Libya part I

The sponsors of the report are the Paris-based International Center for Research Study on Terrorism and Aide to Victims of Terrorism (CIRET-AVT) and the French Center for Research on Intelligence (CF2R). The organizations sent a six-member expert mission to Libya to evaluate the situation and consult with representatives on both sides of the conflict.  and
From March 31 to April 6, the mission visited the Libyan capital of Tripoli and the region of Tripolitania; from April 19 to April 25, it visited the rebel capital of Benghazi and the surrounding Cyrenaica region in eastern Libya.
Al Qaeda in Libya part II
The report identifies four factions among the members of the eastern Libyan National Transitional Council (NTC). Apart from a minority of “true democrats,” the other three factions comprise partisans of a restoration of the monarchy that was overthrown by Qaddafi in 1969, Islamic extremists seeking the establishment of an Islamic state, and former fixtures of the Qaddafi regime who defected to the rebels for opportunistic or other reasons.
There is a clear overlap between the Islamists and the monarchists, inasmuch as the deposed King Idris I was himself the head of the Senussi brotherhood, which the authors describe as “an anti-Western Muslim sect that practices an austere and conservative form of Islam.” The monarchists are thus, more precisely, “monarchists-fundamentalists.”
The most prominent of the defectors, the president of the NTC, Mustafa Abdul Jalil, is likewise described by the authors as a “traditionalist” who is “supported by the Islamists.” The authors point out that Jalil played an important role in the “Bulgarian nurses affair,” so called for five Bulgarian nurses who, along with a Palestinian doctor, were charged with deliberately infecting hundreds of children with AIDS in a hospital in Benghazi. As chair of the Appeals Court in Tripoli, Jalil twice upheld the death penalty for the nurses. In 2007, the nurses and the Palestinian doctor were released by the Libyan government following negotiations in which French president Nicolas    Sarkozy’s then wife, Cecilia, played a highly publicized role.
The report describes members of the al-Qaeda-affiliated Libyan Islamic Fighting Group as the “main pillar of the armed insurrection.” “Thus the military coalition under NATO leadership is supporting a rebellion that includes Islamic terrorists,” the authors write.
Alluding to the major role played by the Cyrenaica region in supplying recruits for al-Qaeda in Iraq, they add, “No one can deny that the Libyan rebels who are today supported by Washington were only yesterday jihadists killing American GIs in Iraq.”

The full composition of the NTC has not been made public. But, according to the authors, one avowed al-Qaeda recruiter, Abdul-Hakim al-Hasadi, is himself a member of the NTC. (On al-Hasadi, see my March 25 report here.) Al-Hasadi is described by the authors as the “leader of the Libyan rebels.” Although Western media reports commonly say that he is in charge of the defense of his home town of Darnah in eastern Libya, the CIRET-CF2R report suggests that in mid-April, al-Hasadi left Cyrenaica by boat in order to participate in the battle of Misrata. He is supposed to have taken arms and 25 “well-trained fighters” with him. Misrata is in western Libya, a mere 135 miles from Tripoli.

Regarding the effects of western military intervention in support of the rebels, the authors conclude:
Western intervention is in the process of creating more problems than it resolves. It is one thing to force Qaddafi to leave. It is another thing to spread chaos and destruction in Libya to this end and to prepare the ground for fundamentalist Islam. The current moves risk destabilizing all of North Africa, the Sahel, and the Middle East and favoring the emergence of a new regional base for radical Islam and terrorism.
What follows are some further translated highlights from the CIRET-CF2R report. The full report is available in French here.

Libyan rebel leader proudly announces him and his men are al-Qaeda

On the Battle of Misrata:
Little by little, the city is starting to appear like a Libyan version of Sarajevo in the eyes of the “free” world. The rebels from Benghazi hope that a humanitarian crisis in Misrata will convince the Western coalition to deploy ground troops in order to save the population.
. . . During the course of April, the NGO Human Rights Watch published casualty figures concerning Misrata that reveal that, contrary to the claims made in the international media, Qaddafi loyalist forces have not massacred the residents of the town. During two months of hostilities, only 257 persons — including combatants — were killed. Among the 949 wounded, only 22 — or fewer than 3 percent — were women. If regime forces had deliberately targeted civilians, women would have represented around half of the victims.
It is thus now obvious that Western leaders — first and foremost, President Obama — have grossly exaggerated the humanitarian risk in order to justify their military action in Libya.
The real interest of Misrata lies elsewhere. . . . The control of this port, at only 220 kilometers from Tripoli, would make it an ideal base for launching a land offensive against Qaddafi.

On Benghazi and the Cyrenaica Region:
Benghazi is well-known as a hot-bed of religious extremism. The Cyrenaica region has a long Islamist tradition going back to the Senussi brotherhood. Religious fundamentalism is much more evident here than in the western part of the country. Women are completely veiled from head to foot. They cannot drive and their social life is reduced to a minimum. Bearded men predominate. They often have the black mark of piety on their foreheads [the “zebibah,” which is formed by repeated prostration during Muslim prayers].
It is a little-known fact that Benghazi has become over the last 15 years the epicenter of African migration to Europe. This traffic in human beings has been transformed into a veritable industry, generating billions of dollars.

Parallel mafia structures have developed in the city, where the traffic is firmly implanted and employs thousands of people, while corrupting police and civil servants. It was only a year ago that the Libyan government, with the help of Italy, managed to bring this cancer under control.
Following the disappearance of its main source of revenue and the arrest of a number of its bosses, the local mafia took the lead in financing and supporting the Libyan rebellion. Numerous gangs and members of the city’s criminal underworld are known to have conducted punitive expeditions against African migrant workers in Benghazi and the surrounding area. Since the start of the rebellion, several hundred migrant workers — Sudanese, Somalis, Ethiopians, and Eritreans — have been robbed and murdered by rebel militias. This fact is carefully hidden by the international media.

On African “Mercenaries” and Tuaregs:
One of the greatest successes [of Qaddafi’s African policy] is his “alliance” with the Tuaregs [a traditionally nomadic population spread over the region of the Sahara], whom he actively financed and supported when their movement was repressed in Mali in the 1990s.
. . . In 2005, Qaddafi accorded an unlimited residency permit to all Nigerian and Malian Tuaregs on Libyan territory. Then, in 2006, he called on all the tribes of the Sahara region, including Tuareg tribes, to form a common entity to oppose terrorism and drug trafficking . . .
This is why hundreds of combatants came from Niger and Mali to help Qaddafi [after the outbreak of the rebellion]. In their view, they were indebted to Gaddafi and had an obligation to do so. . . .
Many things have been written about the “mercenaries” serving in the Libyan security forces, but few of them are accurate. . . .
In recent years, foreigners have been recruited [into the Libyan army]. The phenomenon is entirely comparable to the phenomenon that one observes on all levels of Libyan economic life. There is a very large population of foreign workers in search of employment in the country. The majority of the recruits originally come from Mali, Chad, Niger, Congo, and Sudan. . . .
The information from rebel sources on supposed foreign intrusions [i.e. mercenaries] is vague and should be treated with caution. . . .
On the other hand, it is a proven fact — and the mission was able to confirm this itself — that Tuaregs from Niger came to Tripoli to offer their support to Qaddafi.(video) They did so spontaneously and out of a sense of debt.
. . . It seems that Libyans of foreign origin and genuine volunteers coming from foreign countries are being deliberately confused [in the reports on “mercenaries”]. Whatever the actual number [of foreign fighters], they form only a small part of the Libyan forces.
On the role of the international media:
Up until the end of February, the situation in western Libyan cities was extremely tense and there were clashes — more so than in the east. But the situation was the subject of exaggeration and outright disinformation in the media. For example, a report that Libyan aircraft bombed Tripoli is completely inaccurate: No Libyan bomb fell on the capital, even though bloody clashes seem to have taken place in certain neighborhoods. . . . (video)
The consequences of this disinformation are clear. The U.N. resolution [mandating intervention] was approved on the basis of such media reports.(see Al Jazerra Lies) No investigative commission was sent to the country. It is no exaggeration to say that sensationalist reporting by al-Jazeera influenced the U.N.
On the insurrection in Benghazi:
As soon as the protests started, Islamists and criminals immediately took advantage of the situation in order to attack high-security prisons outside Benghazi where their comrades were being held. Following the liberation of their leaders, the rebellion attacked police stations (video)and public buildings. The residents of the city woke up to see the corpses of policemen hanging from bridges.
Numerous atrocities were likewise committed against African workers (video), who have all been treated as “mercenaries.” African workers were expelled, murdered, imprisoned, and tortured.(video)

On the insurrection in Zawiya (a town in western Libya):
During the three weeks [that the town was controlled by the rebels], all public buildings were pillaged and set on fire. . . . Everywhere, there was destruction and pillaging (of arms, money, archives). There was no trace of combat, which confirms the testimony of the police [who claim to have received orders not to intervene]. . . .
There were also atrocities committed (women who were raped, and some police officers who were killed), as well as civilian victims during these three weeks. . . . The victims were killed in the manner of the Algerian GIA [Armed Islamic Group]: throats cut, eyes gauged out, arms and legs cut off, sometimes the bodies were burned . . .You can see video

Who is "OPPOSITION" in Libya (part II)

The National Transitional Council (NTC) was established on the 5th of March 2011 in Benghazi. The NTC is a coalition of diverse groups and interests:

* The Libyan League for Human Rights (London)
* The National Front for the Safety of Libya ( Riyadh)
* Senoussi The NTC is a coalition of diverse groups and interests:
* The Monarchists (Riyadh)
* "Liberals", close to Saif al-Islam (including two of his relatives, one close to   Human Rights Watch, another AI)
* Personalities from the Gaddafi regime, but opposing his son’s succession and wishing to take power,
* Adherents of radical Islam, particularly activists.

Individuals who are put forward - mainly lawyers, professors, academics - are actually not accurate representatives. The priority is to those who speak English and know how to communicate with Westerners and the media.
The NTC therefore includes both longtime opponents of the regime and those who have defected recently. The NTC is not homogeneous, some of its representatives conceal their identity for questionable reasons, its leaders are people with a very notorious past. In the present state of things, they offer no real guarantee of “democratic” leadership.

Who is the “opposition” in Libya. The opposition is not a monolithic body.  The common denominator is the opposition to the rule of Qaddafi. It has to be said that “actions of opposition or resistance against an oppressor” and an “opposition movement” are also two different things.
There is an authentic form of opposition, which is not organized, and a systematic form of opposition, which is either external or led by figures from within the Libyan regime itself.  Opposition and revolt has been encouraged and prompted from outside Libya through social media networks, international news stations, and events in the rest of the Arab World.
----------

 The Senoussi monarchist movement

Gaddafi holds his power due to an alliance between the tribes of the Western, Central and Southern region (Tripolitania and Fezzan), to the detriment of the tribes of the East (Harabi and Obeidat), close to the old monarchy.

Politico-religious tradition dominant in Cyrenaica is that of Senoussi, an anti-Western Muslim sect, founded in 1842 in Al-Baida, which practices a conservative and austere form of Islam. It is closely associated with the monarchy since King Idris I - installed by the British in 1951 and overthrown by Gaddafi in 1969 - was its leader.

These monarchists-fundamentalists are completely opposed to Democracy and remain opposed to any form of modern government, despite their declared intentions. One motivation is their fierce desire for historical revenge, following the coup of 1969, and they have no other purpose than to restore the monarchy and to eliminate Qaddafi.

One of the tribal leaders met Tobruk's - local leader of the NTC, whose father was a minister of King Idriss - has made no secret of his opinion:
the monarchy is to him a necessary condition for stability.
----------
The leadership of the internal opposition that is emerging in Libya is coming from within the regime itself. Corrupt officials that have rebelled against Gaddafi are not the champions of the people. These opposition figures are not opposed to tyranny; they are merely opposed to the rule of Colonel Qaddafi and his family.
Aref Sharif and Al-Yunis are themselves Libyan regime figures.
It has to also be considered that some Libyan officials that have turned against Qaddafi are doing it to save themselves, while others in the future will work to retain or strengthen their positions.
Abdel Moneim Al-Honi, the Libyan envoy to the Arab League in Cairo, can be looked at as an example. Al-Honi denounced Qaddafi, but it should be noted that he was one of the members of the group of Libyan officers who executed the coup in 1969 with Qaddafi and that later in 1975 he himself tried to take power in a failed coup. After the failed coup, he would flee Libya and only return in 1990 after Qaddafi pardoned him.
Libyan diplomat to put in his papers was Tripoli's Permanent Representative to the Arab League Abdel Moneim al-Honi, who said in Cairo that he had quit his job to “join the revolution” in his country. “I have submitted my resignation in protest against the acts of repression and violence against demonstrators, and I am joining the ranks of the revolution,” said Mr. Al-Honi.
The Second Secretary Hussein Sadiq al Musrati, announced his resignation from China, in an interview with Al-Jazeera, and called on the Army to intervene in the uprising.
Again, these revolting officials, like Al-Yunis are from within the regime. They are not mere diplomats, but former ministers. There is also the possibility that these types of “opposition figures” could have or could make arrangements with external powers.
Abdul Fattah Younis al Obaidi, a former interior minister and at one point Col Gaddafi's number two, was relying on well-established contacts with the SAS as he organised his forces to repel a counter-attack by pro-Gaddafi militias. SAS units have operated in the Libyan desert.
Abdul Fattah Younis al Obaidi, a thick set paratrooper, was head of Libyan special forces until his appointment as interior minister, and oversaw special training programmes between the SAS and his own junior officers. One official said that Gen Obaidi was part of a group of officials that Britain "could do business with" in the post-Gaddafi era.
Rebels holding up the colonial flag of Libya, the ironic symbol of this latest round of Western-backed unrest
The self-appointed figures of the Benghazi-based Transitional Council opposed to Qaddafi are making contradictory statements. The Transitional Council has been described as being similar to Qaddafi’s regime, because “the operation around the rebel council is rife with family ties.” Moreover, the Transitional Council’s claims against Qaddafi are also similar to those made by Ahmed Chalabi and the Iraqi National Congress against Saddam Hussein.
Take for example the position of General Abdul Fatah Al-Yunis (Al-Younis), Qaddafi’s interior minister who defected. General Al-Yunis has said: “[H]e believed that the [W]est should be ready to launch airstrikes against Colonel Gaddafi’s palace in Tripoli to prevent him [from] attacking the Libyan people with chemical weapons or causing terrible casualties in some other way. He [also said that he] was also in favour of establishing an international no-fly zone as soon as possible.”

Despite foreign aid which allows them to continue fighting, they have proved incapable of defeating the Libyan army. Without Western support, they would have been destroyed a long time ago.
“We need more than diplomacy. We need a no-fly zone but we need more than that,” pleaded Iman Bugaighis, a spokeswoman for the Provisional Transitional National Council, the self-styled alternative government, in Libya’s second [biggest] city of Benghazi.
Ali al-Essawi  National Transitional Council and...

Opposition leaders have been deliberately giving mixed signals. Some of them claim that they are against military intervention, but that is fallacious. It has to be noted that while the Libyan opposition leaders in Benghazi asked for intervention, the majority of Libyans on both sides were against U.S. and NATO intervention.
To defeat the Libyan military, which is still under the command of Qaddafi’s  regime, the opposition forces need military intervention and foreign arms. The Globe and Mail had this to report in this regard:
Even Mustafa Abdul Jalil [Abdel Jalil was born in 1952. He served as justice minister under Muammar Gaddafi, but resigned early last year and betray Libya.], one of leader of the rebel transitional council, concedes the rebels cannot win militarily: “Everybody should know that there is no balance between our capabilities and Moammar Gadhafi’s,” the former justice minister who defected early in the rebellion said.
Numerous interlocutors seek the help of the coalition believing that the military situation would change quickly if NATO ground troops were engaged. Now, for the insurgents, the fall of the Tripoli regime depends on NATO. The idea of intervention is gaining ground because it seems to the leaders of the NTC that there is no alternative. The NTC is willing to accept NATO troops on the ground despite their comments a few weeks ago, wishing against “NATO losses”.
But the support from Washington comes not only in the form of money and Tomahawk missiles, but also in military command. One of the commanders of the Libyan rebel army is General Khalifa Hifter. A long-ago Gadaffi-defector, he lived in a Washington suburb for the last 20 years before he took off to Libya in March this year to command the rebel forces. Khalifa Hifter lived just minutes away from CIA headquarters...
----------
The members of our mission were very surprised by the artificiality of this "revolution" by proxy, including the actors waving foreign flags, chanting the name of Sarkozy and calling for NATO intervention to achieve its purpose, which they claim is democratic.

The Libyan people have been led into a trap and they are being misled. It must also be pointed out that the good, the bad, and the ugly have also gathered together on the Benghazi-based opposition side led by the Transitional Council.
The enemy’s of genuine freedom and of the Libyan people have taken advantage of the situation in Libya.
