Welcome to "New" Libya and Meet Mahmoud Jibril

Pro-U.S. Candidate Slated to Win Sham Elections in Libya
Hitlary Clinton and Mahmoud Jibril
Corporate media outlets based in the United States and Europe have already proclaimed the western-backed party of Mahmoud Elwarfally Jibril, the National Forces Alliance, as the winner of the first post-Jamahiriya elections. Jibril, who was educated in the U.S. at the University of Pittsburgh, will undoubtedly uphold the current policies of the National Transitional Council (NTC) which was installed by the Pentagon and NATO during August-October 2011.

Although Jibril served as a previous minister in the Col. Muammar Gaddafi government, he was one of the earlier defectors from the loyalists during the U.S.-supported and financed uprising last year. He played a significant role in serving as a public face to the rebel NTC which was utilized by the Obama administration to justify the bombing and forced removal of the internationally-recognized government of Gaddafi.

Jibril had been forced out as the interim prime minister of the NTC earlier this year in a factional dispute. Although final results would not be available in regard to the elections until several days later, the imperialists have welcomed Jibril as the new “leader” of Libya.
Yet the only political program enunciated by the NTC rebel regime is a firm alliance with the imperialist states and the suppression of the loyalist forces that are still supportive of the Jamahiriya government of the martyred Muammar Gaddafi...

Even in Tripoli, the capital, many stayed away as a result of the threats of violence, the lack of information on the candidates involved and the rejection of the process which seemed alien to people inside the country.

The NTC government said that the participation rate was 60 percent. Yet it did not appear that this was the case from the media reports issued by correspondents in Tripoli and other cities.

Even if the rebel regime’s figures are taken at face value, it would still indicate that 40 percent of the people rejected the polls which will bring into question the legitimacy of the outcome. Libya had not had a political party system since 1952 under the monarchy where election violence resulted in the banning of parties.
What is never mentioned by the corporate media... All former officials who remained loyal to the Gaddafi government were banned from running and therefore the outcome was skewed in favor of the imperialist-backed parties and candidates.

Seif al-Islam, the son of Muammar Gaddafi and his heir apparent, was denied the right to participate in the elections. Seif is currently being held by the Zintan militia which operates outside the authority of the NTC rebel regime based in Tripoli.

Thousands of supporters of the Gaddafi government remain imprisoned and exiled.

Libya election: Bosses and puppets

The Libyan Election Farce
All candidates are neo-imperial candidates - Wall Street proxy Jibril of "National Forces Alliance" presumed winner.
by Tony Cartalucci
Ideally the West would like to install "liberal" pro-globalist candidates into power in each of the nations it has destabilized and destroyed during its premeditated, engineered "Arab Spring." In the case of Egypt where Mohammed ElBaradei was sufficiently exposed and his presidential aspirations effectively derailed, the West's Muslim Brotherhood proxies made for a viable second option.

In Libya, a similar scenario has unfolded with two tiers of Western proxies poised to take power - pro-globalist technocrats like US-educated Mahmoud Jibril (Gibril) Elwarfally's National Forces Alliance, and of course NATO's terrorist proxies within the Muslim Brotherhood along with Al Qaeda-linked Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG) warlords like Abdul Hakim Belhaj.

Letter to Dr. Mahmoud Jibril from Brad Sherman - United States Congress
Dear Dr. Jibril,
I serve as the Ranking Member of the Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Terrorism, Nonproliferation, and Trade in the House of Representatives. I have monitored U.S.-Libyan relations for many years, and am hopeful that we can usher in a new era of close relations. In that vein, I urge the Transitional National Council to adopt the following two policies.
Mahmoud Jibril and Silvio Berlusconi
Mustafa Abdul-Jalil and Mahmoud Jibril Have Been Paving the Way for NATO’s Conquest Since 2007
Shortly after Abdul-Jalil’s appointment in 2007, the other key player in today’s TNC – President Mahmoud Jibril – was also given a government job in Libya. Jibril was made Head of the National Planning Council and later Head of the National Economic Development Board where, according to the US cables, he too helped to “pave the way” for the privatisation of Libya’s economy and “welcomed American companies”.

Libya: Mahmoud Jibril, Al-Jazeera & the Triumph of Televised Propaganda
With the revolutions in North Africa and the Arabian Peninsula, Wadah Khanfar dramatically changed Al-Jazeera’s editorial policy ...

Nevertheless, it wasn’t until the Libyan episode that the masks started to fall. In fact, the boss of JTrack and mentor of Wadah Kanfhar is none other than Mahmoud Jibril (the "J" in "JTrack" stands for "Jibril"). This friendly, brilliant yet shallow, manager had been recommended to Muammar Gaddafi by his new American friends to pilot the economic opening of Libya after the normalization of its diplomatic ties. Under Saif el-Islam Gaddafi’s control, he was appointed both Minister of Planning and Director of the Development Authority, thus becoming de facto the number two man in the government, having authority over other ministers. At breakneck speed, he forged ahead with the deregulation of Libya’s socialist economy and the privatization of its public enterprises.

Through his JTrack training activities, Mahmoud Jibril established personal relationships with almost all the Arab and Southeast Asian leaders. He had offices in Bahrain and Singapore. In addition, Mr. Jibril created trading companies, including one dealing with Malaysian and Australian timber in partnership with his French friend, Bernard-Henri Levy.

CIA-LINKED JIBRIL WINS IN LIBYA?
1. Qatar's Sheikh Hamad brought in a firm called JTrack to help al-Jazeera.
"From Morocco to Singapore, JTrack has trained most of the political leaders backed by the United States and Israel, often mere heredity puppets..."

2. The boss of JTrack is Mahmoud Jibril.
As the the number two man in the Libyan government, Jibril organised the deregulation of Libya’s socialist economy and the privatization of its public enterprises.

3. Jibril has personal relationships with almost all the Arab and Southeast Asian leaders.
Jibril has created trading companies, including one dealing with Malaysian and Australian timber in partnership with his French friend, Bernard-Henri Levy.

4. Jibril has studied in the USA and he is a member of the the Muslim Brotherhood.

5. With Jibril as prime minister of the rebel government of Libya, "the height of duplicity was reached when a replica of the Green Square and Bab-el-Azizia was built in the studios of Al-Jazeera in Doha, where footage of false images was shot portraying pro-US 'insurgents' entering Tripoli."
