Battle for Libya: Saif Al Islam Gaddafi, Moussa Ibrahim, Thierry Meyssan, Alex Jones, Don DeBar fromTripoli [23. August 2011.]

Thierry Meyssan from Rixos Hotel in Tripoli
Live with Thierry Meyssan, french journalist and writer, on Monday 22th, 2011, (1:55, french and libyan time), from Rixos Hotel in Tripoli.

"We are surrounded by Forces which are difficult to identify. In the afternoon, important people from Government and of Kadhafi's family came, but now, they are all gone. Khamis Kadhafi came personnaly to bring weapons, but he's gone.
Hotel is defended by young libyans who are defending us, they have no other reason to risk their lifes.
Some time ago, bombings occured in the garden.(Moving) Here, you can see the Hotel's hall : there is nobody.
Journalists are reassembled on the first floor. A little room has been convert in Mosque to be sheldered from fights if they come inside, but for now, fights are outside.
I show you all this. You can see friends who are coming back. They seems to be proud of what happens outside.

(Phone call)
Fights outside seems going to finish. Anyway, we can hope that, beacause if not, we don't know what will happen yo us before the end of the night ;-)
Meanwhile some frames on TV shows frames from Green Square in Tripoli, which is supposed to be taken over by jubilant people, rebels, and so on ...
Those frames from Al Jazeera are strongly denied by all people we get on the phone.
I don't know what to think.
You know that Qatar's Emir had build a big studio that the scene shows Tripoli's Green Square.
Maybe those  frames are fakes to create a virtual reality, maybe this is reality, I don't know.
As I'm locked here, I cannot tell you more.
I will call back you later, as soon as I know what's happening."

 ---
Tripoli is still under Libyan govt control: to rename Green Square is an unacceptable political act by google   ?? Google-maps has already renamed the Green Square into Martyrs Square ??

Saif Al Islam Gaddafi Interview in Tripoli [23. August 2011.]

Saif Al Islam

Saif al Islam, who was earlier reported to have been arrested, has made a surprise appearance in Tripoli and met foreign journalists early on Tuesday morning.
He appeared at the Rixos Hotel in Tripoli early Tuesday in a convoy of armored Land Cruisers. Saif al Islam met with journalists of Agence France-Presse, BBC News and Fox News. He said that his father and several of his sisters are indeed alive and well, and that Muammar Gaddafi is still in Tripoli.
“Yes, he is in Tripoli, he is alive and well and we are winning,” he said. “The rebels have been lured into a trap and we will crush them."“Tripoli is under our control, the situation in the city is OK,” Saif al Islam told journalists.
The claim about Saif al Islam’s detention was earlier confirmed even by the International Criminal Court (ICC) but now it appears even this respectable institution cannot be fully trusted. All this is casting a shadow over other victorious statements made by the rebel council.
Saif al Islam also took some of the journalists for a drive around the city to the government stronghold district Bab al-Aziziya, where they saw thousands of armed fighters protecting it.
Journalists were told that thousands of volunteers are coming to the capital to protect the government.
Saadi Al Gaddafi just arrived to Tripoli with 1600 fighters from Bani Walid and 3000 from Tarhouna tribe.
Seems the rats will be exterminated from every direction. Dr.Yousef Shakeer talking in radio Bani Walid.
He firstly thanked the Bani Walid tribe that sent 20 thousand volonteers last night to purge Tripoli.
As stated before, Dr. Shakeer said that the rats falsly claimed that they captured him, but this only in their dreams !

Libya - NATO Wanted To Kill From Day One - Leonor
This discussion took place at Midnight 22 August - Libya time. And I had a brief chat (typing) with Ahmed, he said everything in Tripoli is Good - I protested there have been bombings - and then he disappeared ...

And I'll just add one interesting comment just recieved:
propagandakills221 has made a comment on Mahdi Nazemroaya in Tripoli Afternoon 22 August:
"0043:
More from our correspondent Matthew Price. He says Saif al-Islam appeared buoyed up and confident when he arrived at the hotel. Asked where he believed the balance of power lay, he said: "We have broken the backbone of the rebels. It was a trap. We gave them a hard time, so we are winning". [From BBC website.]

WHAT HAPPENED IN TRIPOLI FROM 20th to 22nd of AUGUST - THE TRUTH !!

REAL GREEN SQUARE Vs FAKE CNN's GREEN SQUARE
It’s no longer a surprise that a media war is being waged against Gaddafi and Libya. In March, all news were breaking and highly contradictive towards each other. It arose in global media approximately on 15th of August, when a Saudi Arabia newspaper Asharq Alawsat told that Gaddafi is allegedly ill and ready to leave the country. Saudis, mortal enemies of Muammar Gaddafi, were, of course, such a reliable source, that all other papers followed.

In the same time news channels were choking with new victories of the insurgency. It looked like it took rebels a couple of hours to occupy a city, making poor Moussa Ibrahim steam from his ears, proving to journalists that it is virtually impossible. All this show was a careful preparation for the main course – the taking of Tripoli. But in spite of mercenaries parachuted from Misurata to the south, despite attempts to cut the road from Tunisia, despite the insurgents’ zerg rush on all fronts, much of the rebel success remained on the screen.

Much of the rebel success remained on the screen. And cities cannot be taken by illusion. Therefore, NATO decided to pursue the most risky way: beginning the ground operation.
To cover it up and in the same time spread chaos and panic among Libyans, a set of Tripoli’s Green Square, Bab al-Azizya and several streets was constructed in Doha, Qatar, and videos of successful uprising in Tripoli and its takeover by the rebels were being made. The directors used the same stratagem that their civilian counterparts in Vietnam War movies: to draw their supposed victories.
ATTENTION on 1:30 of this video - it is picture of street - there is NO STREET REALLY
video
On the 20th of August, Twitter, the major supplier of nonexistent witnesses came to life, like a shelled hornet nest. Rebels reported about fights in the city center - with smartphones in the free hand, no doubt. Some have gone further and managed alone to fully capture the west of the city. With the blessings of the almighty Photoshop pictures of rebels against Tripoli and Zawya were shown. Making sure that the February script goes according to plan, and the audience does not seem to mind, the forces of democracy gave a sign to the "moles", long located in the capital and waiting for this day.
The saboteurs ran recorded sounds of battle through speakers of the mosques, to mislead the citizens and give reporters the reason to write about the "audible gunfights and explosions". Simultaneously, dozens of armed people from Algeria, Tunisia and Egypt leaked to several areas of the city, shooting and threatening Libyans. Several Apaches flew in and bombed. The premier of the Qatari film failed at the box office, and the saboteurs were quickly dealt with, but they turned out to be a distraction. NATO marines and mercenaries were arriving from the sea in small fast boats.
The slaughter began. Within 11 hours, 1300 innocent civilians were killed in Tripoli, and 5000 injured, as French Foreign Legion and Al Qaeda cut their way through. All this time, the bombings continued non-stop. Three Apaches flew over the city, firing their miniguns. The gangs of Al Qaeda were burning houses, looting shops and assaulting every woman in sight. Any prominent supporter of Gaddafi was targeted and their houses attacked first. Tripoli is still controlled by Libyan army, but NATO marines and mercenaries as well as Western media continue the attack and slaughter

NATO was entrusted by the Security Council to protect civilians. In fact, France and the UK are now back to resume their colonial massacres.

(August 21, 2011)

Moussa Ibrahim speaks of 1300 people killed from 12.00 noon until 23.00 on August 21 with 5000 wounded. He expressed his fear that many families who are well-known people supporting Gaddafi are afraid that they will be killed by the Rebels to settle scores. They either need to fight or get killed.

He mentioned the killing of a civilian who was simply walking on the street. He was killed because he was a supporter of the Jamahiriya.

NATO has killed quite a lot of these 1300 people by bombing checkpoints and everything else that they have relentlessly bombed today.

He asks NATO to order their Rebels to return in order to prevent a massacre taking place in Tripoli. NATO is held responsible for this blood bath. They made sure the Rebels could enter Tripoli and settle the scores.

Gaddafi's speech, Libya 21. August 2011. [1: 40 am]

"Those who cheer the Nato planes that bomb during Ramadan, God damn their religion. You dirtied the mosques, how can you pray there? Our country that was happy and comfortable in Ramadan, what have we done to France ans Britain, you want to give them our oil.

Libyan men want to kiss the head of Muamar (Gaddafi)
What were you before the Fateh Revolution? You were occupied by Italians!
Go back to your families! Where are you going? You are going to give Libyan oil to France? The Libyans will never accept that.
You want France to rule you!
You want the donkeys of the Gulf to rule you!
What are we, Palestinians? Somalis!
Why have we become this way? Who is standing with these people? Our tribes have been bombed.

They call the planes to bomb their country!
"Come bomb my country!"
Look for who has done this to Libya & take revenge from them.
Who has caused this? He is known.
The traitor, the rat!
He isn't Libyan. Look at the Libyans (on TV) kissing my photo now!

You're destroying the accomplishments-the airports!
The Libyans are now beggars in Egypt & Tunis, take revenge on who has done this.
Did we lose our minds or what? Our men were fine! What's this 17 of February, our sons are being wasted.
Now they will say my speech is recorded from before, the lying channels.
Today is Ramadan 21st. And I am watching Bab Al Azizia now.
Nato is collapsing, it is its last days.
They are killing children.

These are infidels, they kill you in Ramadan. It's 1:40 am now!
These people want to burn Libya. The roads in the mountains even surprised Europe, you used to go on the donkeys & the great river!
The rebels are fleeing like rats from the mountains. The donkeys of the Gulf have given them weapons to destroy our airconditioners.
A million people will rise to liberate Libya from them. Look at the fireworks in the Green Square!!!

NATO warplanes are bombing Tripoli [20. August 2011.] cynicism of the “war on terror”

Western-backed rebel forces encircle Libyan capital
By Alex Lantier

[original:http://www.wsws.org/articles/2011/aug2011/liby-a20.shtml ]
20 August 2011

NATO warplanes are bombing Tripoli, as Western-backed forces affiliated to the Transitional National Council (TNC) continue to launch ground offensives with NATO air support to encircle the Libyan capital. The US press increasingly claims that the TNC will soon defeat the Libyan government of Colonel Muammar Gaddafi, against whom NATO has waged war, using the TNC as its ground forces, since March.

Pro-TNC tribal forces from the Nafusa Mountains, armed by countries including France and the Persian Gulf sheikhdom of Qatar, have advanced on Zawiya and Gheryan. Fighting continued yesterday in Zawiya, though the TNC claims to control the city’s oil refinery—the last functioning refinery in Libya—and to have cut off supply routes through Zawiyah connecting Tripoli to Tunisia.

Tripolitania With TNC forces now holding Gharyan, they can also block an oil pipeline to Tripoli and cut Tripoli off from pro-Gaddafi forces to the south. TNC forces based in Misrata are also advancing on Tripoli from the east, attacking the city of Zlitan.

NATO jets bombed Tripoli yesterday, while NATO officials claimed that their raids on Thursday had destroyed four military targets as well as anti-aircraft installations in Tripoli.

AFP and AP correspondents in Tripoli reported growing electricity blackouts and cutoffs of cell phone service. According to MSNBC, families are “fleeing their homes to avoid a possible rebel assault on Tripoli.”

The International Committee of the Red Cross warned of a “rapid deterioration in the humanitarian situation,” while officials of the Geneva-based International Organization for Migration (IOM) are preparing for a mass exodus of immigrant workers from Tripoli. So far, only about 600,000 of Libya’s estimated 1.5 to 2.5 million foreigners—largely Asian or African migrant workers attracted by the relative wealth of Libya’s oil economy—have left the country. Many of those who stayed fled to the capital to escape violence in other parts of Libya.

IOM spokeswoman Jemini Pandya described plans to evacuate thousands of Egyptian workers stranded in Tripoli: “We are looking at all the options available, but it will probably have to be by sea. … We have a very limited window of opportunity to carry out this operation because of the fighting.”

Western and TNC officials are making statements apparently designed to terrorize the population of Tripoli into surrendering. TNC leader Mustafa Abdel Jalil said that “the noose is tightening” and that he foresaw a “veritable bloodbath” in Tripoli, which he blamed on the continued resistance of Gaddafi and his loyalists.

Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini demanded that the population of Tripoli turn against Gaddafi: “We hope the people of Tripoli, who unfortunately are already fleeing, understand the regime has harmed its own people and will therefore join a process of political change to cut off room for maneuver for Gaddafi’s regime.”

Despite Frattini’s attempt to present NATO as driven by concern for the Libyan population, the TNC’s military successes are due to a ruthless bombing campaign by US and European forces against Libya.

Derek Flood, an analyst with the Jamestown Foundation think-tank who is now in western Libya, told CNN that TNC forces are “dependent on NATO,” adding: “they wouldn’t act without NATO softening up the targets first.”

NATO mounted several days of air strikes on Zawiya before the rebels advanced, making a dozen “key hits” according to NATO spokesmen, before the TNC advanced on Zawiya. British bombers also sank a boat carrying Libyan soldiers apparently attempting to flee the city. Micah Zenko of the US Council on Foreign Relations told CNN that NATO coordinates its bombings with TNC forces through a network of “retired” Special Forces soldiers and “military contractors” operating on Libyan soil.

These events expose the false and hypocritical claims by the Western powers that their military intervention in Libya aimed to protect civilians protesting the Gaddafi regime. In fact, NATO is fighting an imperialist war, carried out with disregard for Libyan lives, to install a right-wing regime at the center of a region shaken by mass revolutionary struggles against US-backed dictatorships in Egypt and Tunisia.

The major powers are also apparently attempting to negotiate Gaddafi’s departure from Libya. On Monday former French Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin attended talks between Gaddafi regime officials and TNC representatives on the island of Djerba, off Tunisia. He told the French daily Le Parisien that the talks were “extremely difficult” but declined to comment further, saying this would threaten to undermine the talks’ success.

The regime with which NATO intends to replace Gaddafi has the most right-wing, reactionary character. The TNC has drawn up a 14-page “constitutional declaration” in Benghazi, which was shown to AFP. It lays out the foundation for a right-wing Islamist government in Libya. It states, “Libya is a democratic and independent state. The people are the source of authority, Tripoli is the capital, Islam is the religion, and Islamic sharia [traditional law] is the principal source of legislation.”

The document was reportedly written by Islamic activist Mohammed Busidra, who granted an interview to Canada’s Globe and Mail daily on August 5. The paper reported that Busidra is “organizing Libya’s mosques into a political machine. This has made him, in the view of many people here, the figure who will wield the most political power, and likely control the country’s leadership, in the event of the dictator’s demise.”

Busidra presented his vision for an Islamic fundamentalist and pro-imperialist puppet state in Libya. He assured the Globe and Mail that he would “remain favorable toward the West and its governments and oil companies.” The inescapable conclusion is that Libya’s 42 billion barrels of oil will be de-nationalized and seized by Western oil firms.

Busidra also insisted that alcohol and homosexuality should become strictly illegal in Libya, as well as “the praise of any religion other than Islam.”

The Globe and Mail explained, “Mr. Busidra’s network is formidable: it includes the long-banned Muslim Brotherhood; the February 17 Martyrs’ Brigade, which is the largest fighting force among the rebel armies and is led by the influential cleric Ismail Al-Sallabi; the even more popular cleric, Mr. Sallabi’s Doha [Qatar]-based brother SheikhAli Sallabi; and a half-dozen other imams and leaders well known in Libya, including more moderate former members of the long-banned Libyan Islamic Fighting Group. Mr. Busidra’s circle is opposed to the extreme Islam of Al Qaeda and other radical groups.”

The distinction the Globe and Mail makes between members of the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG) and Al Qaeda is largely imaginary, however. The LIFG was founded by Libyan veterans of the 1980s Soviet-Afghan war, and thus shares historic ties with Al Qaeda. Al Qaeda grew out of the Maktab Al Khidamat, the group that oversaw international recruitment, funding, and re-supply of Muslim volunteers for this war.

The US government, for one, openly asserts that the two groups work closely together. In its announcement of a $1 million reward for the capture of LIFG member Atiyah Abd al-Rahman, the US Rewards for Justice program asserts that al-Rahman “recruits and facilitates talks with other Islamic groups to operate under Al Qaeda. He is also a member of the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group and Ansar al-Sunna. Atiyah has been in regular contact with senior ranking Al Qaeda leaders.”

The collaboration between far-right Islamist groups and the NATO countries further exposes the cynicism of the “war on terror” waged by the US and the European powers. While citing Al Qaeda as an absolute evil that justifies war and deep attacks on democratic rights, they can collaborate with similar forces when it suits their imperialist interests.

'Cultural property represents in tangible form some of the evidence of man's origins and development, his traditions, artistic and scientific achievements and generally the milieu of which he is a part. The fact that this material has the ability to communicate, either directly or by association, an aspect of reality which transcends time or space gives it special significance and is therefore something to be sought after and protected'
'For the purposes of this Convention, Cultural Property means property which on religious or secular grounds, is specifically designated by each state as being of importance for archaeology, prehistory, history, literature, art or science' (Both quotes from 1970 Paris Convention)
  • Moveable Property - 'mobiliers'
  • Artifacts (Sculpture, archaeological remains)
  • Skeletal remains and grave goods (such as the Ghost Shirt - originally in Kelvin Grove Museum in Glasgow - taken from the body of a dead Sioux warrior after the Battle of Wounded Knee in 1891 and returned March 1999)
  • Intellectual property (Indigenous societies genetic material and sequencing, similar to patents, Indian lawyers have been protesting against foreign drug companies trying to patent the healing properties of the spice Turmeric, one of many)
  • Immovable Property - 'immobilier'
  • Parts of still standing monuments (temple facades, etc) - Parthenon Marbles, Benin Bronzes
  • etc.

URGENT! REBELS SMUGGLING ARCHAEOLOGICAL HERITAGE OF LIBYA
The Libyan government aksed for help to the government of Egypt to stop smuggling of archaeological pieces of Shahhat (Cyrene). The rebels are stealing pieces of the ancient cities of the Mediterranean coast of the region of Cyrenaica,  cities between Benghazi and Cyrene and especially Tubruk. The Libyan government has also asked the heads of the rebels to stop these thefts because of Libya's archaeological heritage are treasure of all Libyans.
The cities of Cyrenaica are of Greek origin. During the Roman Cyrene was the largest city and largest Pentapolis and the capital of the region.
The damage that is causing the U.S. invasion, France and England to Libya is becoming of more and larger proportions.
In Iraq someone stoled the world's best museums of history and are now doing the same in the ancient cities of Cyrenaica.
It is urgent to stop the plunder! Is it not enough to kill and destroy?  They are also  and stealing. http://leonorenlibia.blogspot.com/2011/07/urgente-los-rebeldes-roban-el.html

The Director-General of UNESCO, Irina Bokova,  called on both Libya and the coalition of States implementing a no-fly zone over the country to respect the Hague Convention on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict (1954) and its two (1954 and 1999) Protocols, as appropriate, and keep military operations away from cultural sites. http://whc.unesco.org/en/news/730

Libya’s priceless historical heritage is in danger of being destroyed in the same way Iraq’s cultural riches perished during the United States invasion, warned a Russian expert on West Asia. Mr. Sologubovsky said the UNESCO appeal came too late, too little.
Plunder of Libya’s cultural heritage has been going on since February. I’m afraid it faces the same tragic fate as Iraq’s antiquities, which were plundered by the victorious U.S. military,” said the Russian scholar.

BENGHAZI, Libya  It is being described as one of the biggest heists in archaeological history. A priceless collection of 7,700 gold, silver and bronze coins from ancient times -- known as the Treasure of Benghazi -- was stolen when a gang drilled through the concrete ceiling of an underground vault in the Libyan city earlier this year.
An expert described it last week as "one of the greatest thefts in archaeological history," with many of the items dating from the time of Alexander the Great.
It is impossible to give a value for the hoard but a single ancient Greek coin from Carthage was sold this month for the record price of $431,000 at auction in Paris.
Metal storage cupboards at the National Commercial Bank of Benghazi had been smashed open and the red wax seals on the wooden trunks housing the collection were broken.

The NTC rebels had concentrated on the ancient treasures, leaving items of lesser value untouched.
As well as the coins, the hoard of antiquities included jewelry, medallions, bracelets, anklets, necklaces, earrings, rings and gold armbands. About 50 small monuments and figurines of bronze, glass and ivory are missing and also a small cache of precious stones.

At 15th July 2011.
BUT ! Today 30. October 2011.  Foxnewes create new story

Libya's cultural heritage includes five sites inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List. They are:
  • Old Town of Ghadamès - Known as 'the pearl of the desert', Ghadames stands in an oasis. It is one of the oldest pre-Saharan cities and an outstanding example of a traditional settlement.
  • Rock-Art Sites of Tadrart Acacus - On the borders of Tassili N'Ajjer in Algeria, also a World Heritage site, this rocky massif has thousands of cave paintings in very different styles, dating from 12,000 B.C. to A.D. 100. They reflect marked changes in the fauna and flora, and also the different ways of life of the populations that succeeded one another in this region of the Sahara.
  • Archaeological Site of Cyrene - Established as a Roman province in 74 BC, Cyrenaica shared in the fortunes of the empire and, as such, never ceased to play a preponderant role in the Mediterranean world: it was given by Mark Anthony to Cleopatra, united with Crete by Augustus, who decreed the date of the battle of Actium (34 BC) as the beginning of a new era, and then separated from Crete by Diocletian in a reform of 305, which united it with Egypt.
  • Archaeological Site of Leptis Magna - Founded in the first millennium B.C, Leptis Magna is a unique artistic realization in the domain of urban planning.
  • Archaeological Site of Sabratha - A Phoenician trading-post that served as an outlet for the products of the African hinterland, Sabratha was part of the short-lived Numidian Kingdom of Massinissa before being Romanized and rebuilt in the 2nd and 3rd centuries A.D.

If we agree that cultural property and cultural treasures are important in the creation and maintenance of national identities, then it seems reasonable to assume that we should be in favour of the return of cultural treasures back to their place of origin, or importance. In the light of what is know about the acquisition of cultural property, we are, therefore, concerned with both the return of  properties that were acquired in the relatively distant past (such as the Benin Bronzes; as well as  properties that are being acquired and traded at the current time. In the first instance we are dealing with ways of deciding which treasures need to be returned and to whom. These treasures have also often been sold / traded legally and they now reside in the hands of legal owners. In the second instance we are concerned with both stopping the looting of sites and museums, the prohibition of the current art market for these recently looted goods, and the return of those goods which have been sold to others. Many of these goods will have been initially acquired and later sold on illegally

***
Plundering is a practice as ancient as warfare itself. With the development of the world's great civilizations, the proverbial "spoils of war" often included national and cultural treasures, including priceless art and antiquities. The looting of exotic, foreign treasure filled the national coffers and museums of the victorious, while depleting the vanquished of tangible remnants of their history. The evolution of warfare, both technical and philosophical, altered international perceptions on the seizure of cultural goods. However, today's international bans on the looting and trafficking of antiquities, as well as the expectation that cultural sites remain protected during wartime, took three centuries to come to fruition.
A 1970 United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) convention outlined international policy on the protection of artifacts and cultural sites during both war and peacetime. The convention recommended the repatriation of all antiquities, even those acquired from former colonies. In the 1980s, several UN member nations signed a treaty limiting the destruction of cultural sites during military actions. Archaeologists, art scholars, and antiquities specialists successfully lobbied for a ban on the plunder and traffic of illegally obtained artifacts, or removing any antiquities from their context without express permission of national and local governments. INTERPOL now maintains a special force to investigate art and artifact crimes, including those perpetrated during wartime.
 ***
A change in war ethos in the West prompted swift reforms of how military campaigns dealt with cultural resources during war. Cultural sites are generally avoided in battle plans, and many governments maintain both civilian and military intelligence forces trained to protect cultural goods. In the recent conflict in Iraq, however, the national museum, containing a vast wealth of antiquities from ancient Mesopotamia, was looted before guard forces were established. The rampant looting raised questions about the enforcement of international anti-theft laws, the effectiveness of military protection, and the readiness of international intelligence forces to track down the stolen goods. Subsequently, many of the artifacts feared initially stolen or lost were recovered from hidden vaults

AL JAZEERA AND NATO PLANNING A MAJOR SCAM AND MASSACRE EVER

1. According to reports from reliable sources, the fake scenery of Tripoli is erected in Qatar, in particular Bab al-Aziz and Green Square. Losing, coalition is preparing a grand spectacle. It prepares to destroy the remaining radio and television transmitters in Libya and block Libyan TV on the Internet to suppress truthful information.
At the same time, the U.S. sends more drones.
Those who control the global media and the NATO bloc, are apparently convinced that they were able to deceive everyone and impose their vision of the war in Libya. That is why they believe that the play they will play in the desert of Qatar, with layouts of Tripoli, will be gotten away with.
They will lie to the world, that there is an uprising in Tripoli, that the rebels demand from NATO to send peacemaker troops to destroy the remnants of the troops loyal to Gaddafi himself and his family. And at the same time, NATO will bomb Tripoli and all the cities of Libya, to kill as many as possible in order to destroy the most of the civilian infrastructure and cause a humanitarian catastrophe
If Gaddafi will go out to make a statement and reassure people, a bombing will destroy all who came to the square.
If you do not believe in this scenario, then think about Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Dresden and Vietnamese village of My Lai and other victims of the countries that belong to NATO.
