Libya - Eyewitness: We have so much documentation

[original: http://coto2.wordpress.com/2011/06/08/moriarty-nato-is-destroying-libya/]
COTO BREAKING NEWS: Eyewitness account describes the evidence that NATO’s invasion of Libya constitutes multiple war crimes. This is a military coup which the Libyans will resist for as long as they live.  For more info, see Lindauer’s recent piece, Going Rogue: NATO War Crimes in Libya.

By Joanna Moriarty
TRIPOLIWe have so much documentation that it make your head spin. We spoke with 250 rebels who were released by the Tribal Leaders with the blessings of Ghadafi, the stories they tell of the atrocities that they did are horrifying we have them on tape. We also have many rebels that are documented admitting all the atrocities that they themselves committed. But, here is one truth that is irrefutable – the 2000 tribes of Libya are the actual government here, if anyone does not know this then they do not know Libya.
These tribal leaders released 150 rebel prisoners 3 weeks ago, 10 days later another 250 were released. There were about 20 foreigners that witnessed this magnificent show of forgiveness, we have this on tape. There is another release of 200 prisoners in these coming days.

Go to Benghazi and you will not find one single prisoner because they have all been killed. This is a hard fact. Anyone that says they interviewed prisoners in Misurata is a liar. The Misurata prisoners that were released said that they were paid 2500 dinar for every soldier they killed and another 1000 dinar for burning the bodies. This is why there are no prisoners, so who is believable 250 prisoners on tape or someone who will not even give his name and makes statements that are unbelievable and unverifiable.
Here in Tripoli, the people say, please tell them to come to Tripoli and speak to us but they will not come because they don’t want the truth. They would like to ask these liars to PROVE what they say, they say none of their lies can be proved.
Yesterday was Ghadafi’s birthday, they bombed the H*** out of this place yesterday, many many people crying and big damage, but they are not breaking the back of these people. They had parties and shot off fireworks for 3 hours, we were invited to a wedding because they wanted to show us how life continues here and they celebrate life every day.
NATO is not bombing the rebels in the East. NATO is working for the rebels. People don’t dare complain about the rebels. They are scared for their lives and their family lives. We have met many people who have escaped these place with their lives, but most don’t want their names out because they have family left there and if they show their face or publicly speak about the rebel atrocities then the members of their families that are left will be killed. We know this from first hand, one of our group had this exact problem and could not be filmed, his father called him and said the rebels saw him on TV and if he spoke out one more time against them they would kill his brother one by one and then begin with his other family members.
Today we went to the Roxis hotel. There was a large group of women and children holding signs up that said “tell the TRUTH”, “thank you Qatar for killing our people”, “thank you NATO for destroying our country”.

WE love the leader of our revolution, M. Ghadafi. I stopped and took photos and the women came up to me instantly, they thought I was a reporter as all the reporters stay in the Roxis Hotel. They were quite angry and said, TELL THE TRUTH, we want to see the TRUTH outside of Libya we are sick of the lies. One lady had a very small boy with her (maybe 3 years old) he was dressed in a military outfit, he was black, she said you see my son, even our children will fight against this terror, we will never accept NATO or the rebel RATs. [Note: the Libyan people call the rebels "rats."]
This is literally everywhere in Tripoli, tonight thousands were on First of September street in support of their revolutionary leader.
In all the time (5.5 years) we have come here we have never heard of oppression by Ghadafi, the people have great respect and love for him. They all wear green and wear photos of him around their necks, believe me the Western news is so far from the truth they are on another planet.
We have never seen anybody beaten, harassed, in prison, in fact we have been days and never even seen a policeman unlike our trips to Cairo where armed guards are on every corner, with tanks around Mosques on Fridays. Believe us, before this mess, it was safer in Tripoli than in Houston.
This is not the Libyan way, they don’t pass out Viagra, this is from the Western mind – I may explode before long, cannot suffer fools lightly and these people have mouths that are not connected to souls.
The final two verifiable truths about the atrocities committed by NATO and the Rebels and the US and UK are:
1. The leader of a tribe of 1 million Libyans living in Benghazi was brutally murdered in his home by the rebels after a kangaroo court which was broadcast in the news on TV here in Libya by Dr. Shakeer. The million people tribe wanted to retaliate against all the rebels, the other tribal leaders and Ghadafi told them please do not kill all these people as there has already been too much bloodshed in Libya. Does this sound like a tyrant?
2. Two days later another pro Ghadafi person was murdered, his head was cut off
and placed at the door step of the security office in Dharna (he was a tribal leader) the outrage by most of the population in Dharna was expressed in demonstrations of disgust against the rebels and at the end of the day, the green flag of the legitimate government of Libya was flying. The three major tribes in Dharna proclaimed that they had had enough of the death at the hands of these rats and the Council of Shame as they call the revolution council in Benghazi.
All of these facts are true and verifiable by video and by affidavit of those present, this liar cannot prove one thing that he is saying.
The word of some paid CIA mercenary is not worth ****.
Susan believe us when we say, we have huge amounts of documentation, we are collecting it every day. We must file war crime charges against Obama, Sarkozy, Cameron, and NATO.
Question the Libyans constantly ask is: “Who are these countries to dictate who our leader should or should not be, we will pick our own leader, we ask for a vote, let us vote and then you will see who should be our leader.” NATO will never dictate to us, if they impose their puppet leader upon us, we will have another revolution and throw him out, he will not last one week.
The biggest population is Libya as you know, is in the west, the more NATO rains down destruction upon them the more they back Ghadafi. These are a strong and resilient people, they have an ancient culture and they are an endangered species. Misinformation is the tool of the West not Libya. We have nothing to gain by helping these people (except our souls). One cannot stand by and witness this type of tyranny without doing everything possible to stop it.
God Bless them, I pray they will survive this siege that is upon them.
This is an email from Tripoli resident, Joanne Moriarty, sent to Susan Lindauer earlier today, June 8, 2011, which Susan provided to COTO Report and which we are leaving unedited.

WIKLEAKS LIBYA - S E C R E T SECTION 01 OF 04 TRIPOLI 000120

E.O. 12958: DECL:  2/15/2018
SUBJECT: EXTREMISM IN EASTERN LIBYA

TRIPOLI 00000120  001.2 OF 004

CLASSIFIED BY: Chris Stevens, CDA, Embassy Tripoli, Dept of State. REASON: 1.4 (b), (d)

1.(C) Summary: A U.S.-Libyan dual national who regularly visits family members in eastern Libya recently described for us social, political and economic factors that have contributed to and facilitated participation by a disproportionately large number of eastern Libya's native sons in "martyrdom acts" and other insurgency operations in Libya and Iraq. A reportedly deliberate GOL policy to keep the east poor as a means by which to limit the potential political threat to Qadhafi's regime has helped fuel the perception among many young eastern Libyan men that they have nothing to lose by participating in extremist violence at home and in Iraq. The prospect of financial compensation for their impoverished families motivates some, but local pride in eastern Libya's historical role as a locus of opposition to occupying forces of various stripes is also an important factor. The fact that eastern Libyan mosques are more numerous and remote, together with tight local social networks, has reportedly circumscribed the ability of GOL security organizations to monitor and control the activities of radical imams as effectively as elsewhere in Libya. Unlike the rest of the country, sermons in eastern Libyan mosques are laced with phraseology urging worshippers to support jihad in Iraq and elsewhere through direct participation or financial contributions. While senior regime figures, including Saif al-Islam al-Qadhafi, appear to have recognized that the east merits more attention and investment, the reported ability of radical imams to propagate messages urging support for and participation in jihad despite GOL security organizations' efforts suggests that claims by senior GOL officials that the east is under control may be overstated. End summary.

2.(S/NF) In a meeting February 5, U.S.-Libyan dual national XXXXXXXXXXXX(strictly protect) told P/E Chief that eastern Libya remains a locus of extremist activity over which GOL security services have comparatively limited control.

GOL KEEPS EAST POOR TO KEEP IT POLITICALLY DISENFRANCHISED ...

3.(S/NF) XXXXXXXXXXXX said eastern Libya suffers from a disproportionately high level of unemployment, particularly for young men between the ages of 18 and 34. "At least half" of the young men in that demographic are unemployed or only intermittently employed. The situation reflects in part the Qadhafi regime's belief that if it keeps the east poor enough, it will be unable to mount any serious political opposition to the regime. Explaining the rationale, he cited a Libyan proverb: "If you treat them like dogs, they will follow you like dogs".

... BUT RECENT VIOLENCE SUGGESTS GOL'S APPROACH FLAWED

4.(S/NF) XXXXXXXXXXXX said recent events in Benghazi and Derna suggest that the GOL's premise is flawed. Family members with whom he is in regular contact told him during his visit that there were violent clashes between local extremists and GOL elements late last year. In one incident, extremists opened fire in proximity to a Benghazi hospital in connection with their attempts to secure medical assistance for a sick or injured comrade. In another, there was an explosion or an exchange of gunfire (accounts differed) at a traffic circle in a Benghazi exurb in connection with an attempt by a police officer to stop a vehicle being used by extremists. (Note: Both incidents were reported late last year in other channels. This is the first mention we've heard of these events from other sources. End note.) XXXXXXXXXXXX also offered non-specific accounts of raids by extremists, whom they understood to be affiliated with the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group, on police and military installations to secure weapons.

"NOTHING TO LOSE"

5.(S/NF) Citing conversations with relatives, XXXXXXXXXXXX said the unemployed, disenfranchised young men of eastern Libya "have nothing to lose" and are therefore "willing to sacrifice themselves" for something greater than themselves by engaging in TRIPOLI 00000120 002.2 OF 004 extremism in the name of religion. "Their lives mean nothing and they know it, so they seek to give meaning to their existence through their deaths", he said. The lack of jobs and dim prospects for future employment, together with increased costs of living, mean that many young men lack the means to marry, leaving them without a key measure of social status and stability in what remains a traditional society. As in parts of neighboring Egypt, the average age at which men marry has increased in many parts of eastern Libya. Many now marry in their early to mid-30's, which would have been considered "middle age" in the not too distant past.

COMPENSATION FOR MARTYRS' FAMILIES AN INCENTIVE FOR SOME

6.(S/NF) XXXXXXXXXXXX flatly stated that some young men, particularly those from more impoverished clans, are motivated by the promise of long-term financial compensation for their families should they complete "martyrdom acts" in Iraq or elsewhere. Noting that incomes in the east are low, he offered that extremist networks are able to incentivize young men to kill themselves by offering comparatively small payments of 150-200 Libyan dinar/month (approximately 120-160 USD/month) to families of "martyrs". (Note: As a point of reference, most government salaries range from 250 to 330 Libyan dinar per month. End note.)

"PERVERSE PRIDE" AS GEOGRAPHICAL LOCUS OF RESISTANCE A DRAW FOR OTHERS

7.(S/NF) The fact that the east has been comparatively disenfranchised, together with its historical role as a locus of opposition to the Ottoman and Italian occupations, contribute to a "perverse sense of pride" among eastern Libyans in their role as a main supplier of young men for jihad efforts in Iraq and elsewhere, XXXXXXXXXXXX said. He recounted a large dinner in Derna hosted by a family friend that he attended in summer 2007. Conversation among the mostly middle-aged male group of guests focused on news that two young men from Derna had recently killed themselves in suicide operations in Iraq. Dinner guests offered a mix of "condolences and congratulations" to the two young men's relatives.

8.(S/NF) XXXXXXXXXXXX said he was struck by the level sentiment against Coalition forces in Iraq, and by the obvious pride the dinner guests took in the fact that two of their native sons had "struck a blow" against "occupying Crusader forces in Iraq". He emphasized that the dinner was one of the relatively few occasions in Libya in which he felt uncomfortable by dint of having U.S. citizenship. In XXXXXXXXXXXX view, eastern Libyans are not necessarily anti-American, but are strongly opposed to a U.S. military presence in Iraq or any other Muslim country. In the 1980's, the talk had been directed against the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan; now, it was focused on the U.S. presence in Iraq.

9.(S/NF) Noting that the leader of Libya's resistance against the Italian occupation in the early 20th century, national hero Omar Mukhtar, was from the eastern village of Janzour, XXXXXXXXXXXX cautioned that it would be a mistake to think that young men from Derna were motivated to undertake suicide operations in Iraq solely by unemployment and the chance to secure a stipend for their families The region had a long, proud history of opposing occupation forces of one stripe or another; its residents took pride in their willingness to "fight for justice and their faith" despite their relative poverty.

IRAQ SEEN AS A "LOCAL" ISSUE FOR YOUNG EASTERN LIBYANS

10.(S/NF) XXXXXXXXXXXX noted that for many young eastern men, jihad in Iraq was perceived to be a local issue. Among the factors fueling that perception, he pointed to the proselytizing influence of Libyan fighters who had fought in Afghanistan and now recruited young eastern Libyans for operations in Iraq, the influence of Arabic-language satellite television broadcasts, use of the Internet to exchange information and coordinate logistics, and the comparative ease of travel to/from Iraq. During his last visit to the east, relatives and friends cited media reports to the effect that Libyans, most of them from Derna and points east, comprised the second largest cohort of foreign fighters identified in documents seized during last September's Objective Massey operation on the Syria-Iraq border. XXXXXXXXXXXX noted that a majority of those in Derna who raised the issue appeared to take pride in the fact that their small city had contributed disproportionately to the jihad against coalition forces in Iraq. TRIPOLI 00000120 003.2 OF 004

"CODED" MOSQUE SERMONS MORE RADICAL IN EAST

11.(S/NF) XXXXXXXXXXXX partly attributed the fierce mindset in Benghazi and Derna to the message preached by imams in eastern Libyan mosques, which he said is markedly more radical than that heard in other parts of the country. XXXXXXXXXXXX makes a point of frequenting mosques whenever he visits Libya as a means to connect with neighbors and relatives and take the political pulse. Sermons in eastern mosques, particularly the Friday 'khutba', are laced with "coded phrases" urging worshippers to support jihad in Iraq and elsewhere through direct participation or financial contributions. The language is often ambiguous enough to be plausibly denied, he said, but for devout Muslims it is clear, incendiary and unambiguously supportive of jihad. Direct and indirect references to "martyrdom operations" were not uncommon. By contrast with mosques in Tripoli and elsewhere in the country, where references to jihad are extremely rare, in Benghazi and Derna they are fairly frequent subjects.

ARCHITECTURE, GEOGRAPHY COMPLICATE GOL CONTROL OF EASTERN MOSQUES

12.(S/NF) Part of the difficulty for GOL authorities in controlling eastern mosques is that the most zealous imams tend to preach in small suburban and rural mosques. He mentioned the almost festive atmosphere of one trip, when relatives gathered to travel to a remote rural mosque to hear a "controversial" imam's sermon. Unlike Tripoli, mosques in the east tend to be smaller and more numerous, making it harder to monitor all of them. Architecture and local heritage also play a role: many mosques in the east don't physically resemble traditional mosques elsewhere in the country, reflecting in part the pseudo-secret tradition of the Sanussi lodges that evolved in eastern Libya in the mid-19th century. The fact that many eastern mosques are less readily identifiable make it harder for GOL security organizations to identify them and easier to hold unobserved meetings and sermons, XXXXXXXXXXXX said. He claimed that it is "widely known" in the east that mosques in town centers are more closely monitored by GOL security organizations; however, it has been more difficult for security organizations to monitor smaller, more remote mosques in exurbs and towns around Benghazi and Derna.

AS DO TIGHT FAMILY, SOCIAL CIRCLES

13.(S/NF) Citing conversations with relatives, XXXXXXXXXXXX said it is "common knowledge" that GOL security organizations attempt to monitor mosque sermons and activities, particularly Friday 'khutba' sermons. (Note: In Tripoli and other parts of the country, an officially-sanctioned Friday 'khutba' theme and talking point-equivalents are distributed to mosques, often by facsimile. End note.) In addition to the proliferation of smaller, less visible mosques, the ability of security organizations to effectively monitor eastern Libyan mosques is circumscribed by the comparatively tight social and familial structure. Communities in the east tend to be smaller and more tightly knit; outsiders are easier to spot and families "watch out" for members who may have been turned by GOL security organizations to report on the activities of their relatives and neighbors.

14.(S/NF) XXXXXXXXXXXX related the story of a young man from Derna who was recently suspected of reporting to GOL security organizations on who attended his local mosque and what was said there. The alleged informant was ostracized by his fellow worshippers, townsmen and even family members. After losing his job, reportedly in part because of his "treachery", he fled to Egypt and has not been heard from since.

15.(S/NF) Comment: XXXXXXXXXXXX account affords a relatively rare insider's look at the social, political and economic factors in eastern Libya that have contributed to and facilitated participation by a disproportionately large number of its native sons in "martyrdom acts" and other insurgency operations in Iraq. Conventional wisdom holds that the east is poorer and more disenfranchised in part by deliberate design; however, senior GOL officials have recently made a point of spending more time and investing more effort there. Saif al-Islam al-Qadhafi, the regime's most public face of political and economic reform, chose to hold the first and second meetings of his annual Youth Forum in Benghazi in 2006 and 2007, and gave important addresses to large crowds there. In the run-up to both events, he spent considerable time in and around Benghazi, promoting economic and social development projects under the auspices of the ostensibly non-governmental Qadhafi Development Foundation, which he heads. Among them was a billion dollar-plus "green" project for development of an environmentally-friendly tourism/business zone TRIPOLI 00000120 004.2 OF 004 adjacent to the Graeco-Roman ruins at Cyrene, near Benghazi. Work on an extensive renovation of Benghazi's port, designed to help rejuvenate shipping volume and create local jobs, also continues. The most troubling and difficult aspect of XXXXXXXXXXXX's account is the pride that many eastern Libyans, particularly those in and around Derna, appear to take in the role their native sons have played in the insurgency in Iraq. The reported ability of radical imams to propagate messages urging support for and participation in jihad despite GOL security organizations' efforts suggests that claims by senior GOL officials that the east is under control may be overstated. End comment.

Battle for Libya: Moscow is playing on two looms in Libya

by Miroslav Lazanski
Tripoli 07.07.2011
...

Tripoli- The green national flag of Libya is fluttering in the hot desert wind. The border crossing Ras Jedir, between Tunisia and Libya, unbearable heat and a big crowd. There is about 113 degrees in shade, columns of cars and trucks, all pushing horns and trying to bypass the queue.

Unlike two months ago, all the customs officers and policemen are wearing new uniforms, they are doing their job very professionally. I enter Libya by foot, waiting to be "sniffed" by the member  of the secret police. Because, he is in charge and he is the one doing everything necessary for the journalists coming to Libya.
So, just as I have passed the guard's post, one unknown man in civilian clothes waved at me. He approaches me, and the only thing that makes me suspect he is from the secret police, is a little walkie-talkie he is discreetly holding in his hand. Without saying a word, he takes my passport and goes somewhere. What a wonderful feeling it is to remain on the sand, in the hot sun and without a passport in the country who's at war, and your passport was taken away by an unknown man in civilian clothes. Who by the way, didn't show you any official identification.
The waiting dragged on for about three full hours, until the mini bus, carrying the journalists who were just leaving Libya, arrived. By the way, on the border crossing Ras Jedir, the number of those leaving and those who are coming back to Libya is almost the same. Noticeable is a large number of families with children going back to Libya. There are a lot of trucks carrying white sacs with flour, the cult of flour, or bread, is characteristic for the Arab world. I was surprised by the trucks carrying bicycles, Libya is now massively importing bicycles, he shortage of the fuel turned Tripoli to a genuine Amsterdam.

The road leading from the border to Tripoli is partially coated with new asphalt, on the side of the road there are a lot of watered flowers. We drive trough Subrata and Zawia , the towns the rebels said were  scenes of fierce battles. I can not see any trace of those battles, on the contrary those towns look very orderly and peaceful, with many people out on the streets strolling.

In the mini bus, beside me there are a couple of western journalists, as well as a correspondent of the China's state agency. The western journalists take turns in Libya every ten days, regular shift. They find it a normal duration of one "mandate" in these circumstances of coverage. Even with the Internet, there are still world renowned names of journalism.
Tripoli at dusk, appears quite leisurely, just the kilometers of cars in line for the gas. People leave their cars in line for three or four days in order to fill the reservoir with gas. despite the war and shortages, the gas in Libya got cheaper, so that now 100l of gas cost about 5 EUR.
Despite the fact that Libya, prior to this war, was one of the biggest exporters of oil, it is now importing gasoline, because the oil processing capacity is very modest. Only operating oil rafineries are those in Zawia and Brega. Exports of oil has virtually stopped, because almost all oil pumping stations, including the "124", have been destroyed. There can be no oil transport without those oil pumping stations.

At the begining of the war, the rebels have seized ten storage tanks with 8.000.000 barrels of oil, near Benghazi  and Twareg, in the following 40 days they were pumping 130.000 barrels of oil a day, which means they have sold more that 13.000.000 barrels. If they sold one barrel for at least 70 dollars, then their profit would have been 160.000.000 dollars.
Leaders of the rebels in Benghazi claim they have received only 100.000.000 dollars from the oil sales, so now, many people ask themselves- how did the rest 60.000.000 dollars turn into smoke? So, the lack of unity among the rebels has a very tangible dollar dimension. Some rebel leaders are openly accused of stealing the oil money. By the way, Russian airplane bringing humanitarian help landed the day before yesterday in Benghazi, and yesterday another Russian aiplane with humanitarian help landed, in Tripoli this time. Moscow is playing on two looms.
On the military level, the situation is almost the same as it was two months ago. Gaddafi can not regain the lost territory, the rebels, even with the great help from NATO, do not progress as much as they are telling the public. After all, who wants to fight at 113 degrees in shade, and with the Ramadan approaching.
Gaddafi has totally adjusted his troops to the conditions of NATO domination of the airspace, their use of drones and satellite reconnaissance. There are no major troop movements, everything is camouflaged, the army can not be seen anywhere.

The night before last, the NATO's airplanes just flew over Tripoli, I haven't heard a single explosion, but jesterday in the morning the doctors from the "Zanzour" rehabilitation center told me that some white coloured reagent was trown from the air, that caused people to experience the burning and sat on cars just like snow, so it had to be cleaned with the windshield wipers.
When I asked them if they gave it for analysis, they said no, because no one ordered them to do so. Nothing is done here, withouth the specific order. There are 1.700 employees in that rehabilitation center, 150 of them are working, the rest of them recieve salaries, and does nothing.
On the political level, the government now agrees with many of the terms by the rebels, which the government itself previously proposed. As it is, Gaddafi's son Saif al Islam keeps repeating and proposing referendum, new constitution ( there is no constitution now) and elections under international supervision, the only thing not accepted is for Gaddafi to leave Libya.

The secret negotiations are held at the same time in several European cities, some here here in Tripoli claim that everything is already agreed, and now they are working on technical details. Ramadan is close and no one is looking at a spectacular victory.

Libya uprising: Big RALLY in Sabha [08.07.2011.]

احتفالات بعد صلاة الجمعه

الله اكبر وربي يحفظهم

PROPAGANDA ala HOLLYWOOD STYLE ( part III)

PROPAGANDA ala HOLLYWOOD STYLE (part I) -->

Especially in the cities of the jihadist hotbed in the northeast of Libya, Benghazi, Ajdabiya, Al Beida, Derna and Tobruk, – justifying it’s actions with the false black mercenary allegation – lynch mobs were hunting black people, arresting, mistreating and killing black people in the most ugly ways with knives. As many people in wealthy Libya have mobile phones with cameras the crowds videotaped such crimes an uploaded videos to social media sites as signs of victory.
There are many more such videos of such horrific deliberate crimes of the „rebels“ – often racist murders commited against helpless black people which were already handcuffed. Every and each government has not only the right, but also the duty to stop such murderous lynch mobs – and the government should exercise the amount of force that is necessary to stop such lynch mobs.

Now, let’s have a look of what is alleged to be proof a horrific crime of the government forces loyal to Muamar Gaddafi. See here two screenshots of a video, 1:06 min long, showing alleged crimes of Gaddafi loyalists. YuoTube link ->
video

Screenshot: Second 15 of a 1:06 min long Video Look at this screenshot well and remember. See that between the three killed men in uniforms there is an empty place in the middle, bloody were a head may have been laying.
Screenshot: Second 39 of 1:06 min long Video Look at this screenshot well, and remember, too. Ask yourself: what kind of weapon has been used to cause that kind of injury?
The video, posted on many video channels and titled for example „GRAPHIC Lybian Soldiers Executed – By Gaddafi’s Mercenaries – Libya – Smuggled Video“, was uploaded to Youtube on 23rd of February. The description of the video reads – at the Youtube channel SurvivalWithBushcraf:
Soldiers tied up and executed by Gaddafi mercenaries for refusing to kill protesters! Reuploaded from … WARNING Extremely graphic video smuggled to an Al Jazeera reporter across the border in Libya. This is evidence of crimes against humanity which the world should know about especially the West. The information given is that these are soldiers who refused to kill their own people so they were tied up and executed.
The video shows about 18 government soldiers and security forces, most of them with their hands handcuffed on the back brutally and bloodily slaughtered. The deads are shown close up and other people as the slaughtered are just seen in the last seconds. Comments below the video read like „Gaddafi is a devil they should burn him alive.“ Nobody questioned who were the devils who commited this crime. It was „Gaddafi mercenaries“ slaughtering security forces because they didn’t want to kill such peaceful freedom and democracy demonstrators as the participants of the islamic lynch mobs seen above.
How did the world know?
Please note, that Libyafeb17.com has removed the video embedding and that someone who said he is admin of Youtube channel WadiTR, created February 18, 2011, has given a comment, declaring that he is the „admin of the YouTube Page that posted this Video“. So the world was set up to believe, that Libya is the only dictatorship in the world, were the brutality of the dictatorship is not proven by massacred peaceful protesters, but proven by a video showing masscred government forces. Of course, that’s bullshit.
It can be proven. Other videos of this horrific crime scene do exist, too. See here a video, probably taped by a different person, which is 55 seconds long. Watch it well.

The video shows allegedly „rebels“, who found the soldiers, which were slaughtered by Gaddafis mercenaries because they refused to kill their fellow Libyan people. Have you noticed something? Here is a screenshot of second 10.

Screenshot: Second 10 of 0:55 min long Video
This white skinned guy is badly injured, but he moves his hand, so he is still alive. The guy is lying exactly at the place were in the 1:06 min long video is an empty space. Look at the screenshot. The guy still living is videotaped in close-up, but neither the camera man nor anybody else of these sympathic human rights and democracy rebels seems to help him.
Didn’t they notice, that he he still alive?
More videos of this horrific crime scene do exist. See here a video, probably taped by a different person, which is 1:25 min long. Watch it well, too.

Have you seen? Look the screenshot of 1:18 min.
Screenshot: Minute 1:18 of 1:25 min long Video
Someone who – like all of the people present at the crime scene in this video as in the last video, you can hear men and at least one woman speaking with each other in the background – doesn’t want to come into the picture, gives the guy, who is still living, a bit water
But nothing more. Nobody cares trying to stop him bleeding. Nobody cares for him, fo example speaking with him to keep him awake until – maybe – an ambulance comes.
Have you ever seen an accident on the street where people were injured?
What kind of people would behave this way?
It’s easy to say: murders behave in such a way.
What we have seen here in these videos are the murders taping the fresh crimescene of their own crime to publish the video and blame this horrific crime on Gaddafi.
The guy who is still living is the same guy, who was lying at a different place and whose head was completely smashed in the 1:06 min long video. See the screenshot and compare.
That means that the head of this guy was smashed after the „rebels“ taped the crimescene when he was still living. „Rebels“ smashed his head after the 0:55 min and the 1:25 min long videos were taped.
You still don’t believe what you see?
So see this video, it shows some of the victims still alive – together with some of the people who overwhelmed them. The video was made in the night – as the victims didn’t redress in the meantime, probably shortly before their were killed. Watch closely:

Do you remember this guy? His pullover is very specific.
Now have a look of a weapon used by the people, who took the soldiers hostage before they were killed.
Screenshot: Minute 4:32 of 11:51 min long Video
The big black guy, who is among those later slaughered, is threatened with kind of a wooden club, an iron rod or a sword. Hard to say from the video what it is exactly, but such a weapon could probably cause such injuries as we have seen in the massacre of the captured soldiers.
Now look at those who took the soldiers hostage before they were slaughtered.
Screenshot: Minute 5:02 of 11:51 min long Video
The soldier in the front is one of those who is saughtered later. He is upset, and someone – probably a woman – is laying a hand on his shoulder to calm him down. In the background at the left the guy with the black woolen hat is clearly one of the captors.
Screenshot: Minute 5:04 of 11:51 min long Video
The guy with the white jacket is one of the captors. The person with the camera is clearly trying to avoid to tape him on video, but at one time he slipped into the picture. If you watch the video closely at these seconds where he appears, you can see, that he has got a long gun in his right hand. In the background we can see the window. It’s night and some people are in front of the window watching the crime scene.
Screenshot: Minute 5:28 of 11:51 min long Video
A very young man is shown who covers his face partly with a scarf so he will be a bit harder to recognize if the police will looking for him for taking soldiers hostage, who are killed later in a barbaric manner. He is one of the captors.

Screenshot: Minute 5:35 of 11:51 min long Video
This person remains a mystery so far. It’s just an arm. It’s probably the person who videotapes the hostage taking. As this screenshot was taken, a female hsotage taker argues heavily with the big black guy, who is later among the dead. So, the person who took the video is most probably a woman. But she is never to be seen in the picture because it is her, who tapes the video.
That hostage taker people are clearly not Gaddafi special troops. These are rebels, taping their own hostage taking crime. An later they tape the crimescene of the massacre, which they committed themselves.
They published the videos of their own crimes and labeled them „Crimes of Gaddafi“.
This is interesting enough. What is even more interesting is that this pattern is to be seen in different places in Libya. Rebels murder people, soldiers and Gaddafi supporters, tape their crime, publish it on social media sites and label it „Crimes of Gaddafi“.
Check your favorite search engine t find more such alleged Gaddafi crimes which are in fact rebel crimes.
Think yourself: if it’s true somebody has organzied this uprising in this way, which is clearly a murderous and brutal campaign of the most racist and disgusting people around there.

12h/ NATO faces pressure from outside the alliance. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei V. Lavrov said Monday that his nation and NATO "so far don't see eye to eye" on how the alliance is implementing the U.N. Security Council resolution authorizing the campaign in Libya, the Russia 24 TV network reported.
Lavrov particularly criticized the reported French airdrops of weapons, saying they would violate a U.N. arms embargo on Libya
12h/ Senior European and American officials insist that there has always been such dissent over NATO campaigns and that the players who count remain firmly committed. The alliance formally agreed last month to extend the mission, originally planned for 90 days, for three more months.
But officials and outside observers acknowledge that pressure is growing for the coalition to deliver a knockout blow. If not, the Western powers, under acute economic stress and struggling with other military obligations, might have to negotiate an exit on terms that could leave Gadhafi some leverage.
11h/ Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini scolded the coalition over the accidental killing of civilians and called for a cease-fire - a step that U.S., British, and French officials say would allow Gadhafi to regroup.
11h/   Norway, whose small air force has carried out a disproportionate 10 percent of the strikes with six fighter planes, last month became the first country to set an end date to its role.

10h/ In the Netherlands, Defense Minister Hans Hillen complained last week of "mission creep" and suggested that the campaign's advocates were deluded to believe they could crush Gadhafi.
"People who thought that merely by throwing some bombs it would not only help the people, but also convince Gadhafi that he could step down or alter his policy were a little bit naive," Hillen told reporters in Brussels, Belgium.
10h/ France and Britain, which have led the way on the campaign, are bearing the brunt of the military burden and costs, and they are eager to bring the war to an end. Their officials have been looking for ways to intensify the campaign and bring it to a close, parting company with the Obama administration, which has been urging patience.

20h/  Libya's government said on Monday that its forces have intercepted a boat in waters off Tripoli loaded with weapons bound for rebels fighting to oust Libyan leader Moammar Qaddafi.
"After the French arms air-dropped to the rebellion, we are witnessing a new form of arms shipments by sea, and we have intercepted a ship carrying weapons and ammunition," Libyan Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled Kaaim told reporters.
"We denounce these deliveries because their aim is to provoke clashes between Libyans and chaos in the country.
"We have repeatedly warned the West that these weapons could fall into the hands of Al-Qaeda," Kaaim said without elaborating on the weapons, their origin or destination.
The authorities plan to take foreign journalists to see the boat.
France admitted on Thursday it has been delivering arms to Berber rebels in the Nafusa Mountains southwest of Tripoli, insisting they were only meant to defend peaceful civilians from Qaddafi's forces.

17h/  Moscow supports the African Union's peace proposals and wants it to take a leading role in the settlement efforts. Both denounced French arms drops to Libyan rebels. “Any supplies of weapons are a violation of the [U.N. Resolution 1973], as also is the sending of military instructors,” said Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov after the Russia-NATO Council meeting.
13h/ Germany has agreed to supply munitions for the NATO air-strikes in Libya. The move comes despite Berlin not originally backing the operation, and some suggest peer pressure has caused the shift in its position. -- > http://rt.com/news/germany-libya-shells-nato/?utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=Russia+Today+[EN]
12h/ West sent commandos to kill Gaddafi – son
The son of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi has claimed that Western forces have deployed commando units in Libya to target his father. Muhammad Gaddafi spoke Monday with Kirsan Ilyumzhinov, the World Chess Federation chief and former president of Russia’s Republic of Kalmykia. According to Muhammad Gaddafi, the eldest son of Libyan strongman, the commandos are staying in Tripoli. He also told Ilyumzhinov that his father is all right and does not plan to leave the country Libya he loves more than his life. The World Chess Federation head arrived in the Libyan capital on Sunday night.
12h/ Libya will be on the agenda at talks between Russia and Nato on Monday in the southern Russian resort of Sochi. Russia has criticised the bombing campaign, saying the mission has lost its original focus on protecting civilians and now aims to remove Muammar Gaddafi.
12h/  Saif al-Islam to NATO: "You don't have any chance to win. Zero chance. To tell my father to leave the country, it's a joke. We will never surrender. We will fight. It's our country."

10h/  After the 17th AU Summit held in Malabo, capital of Equatorial Guinea, on Thursday, the AU handed its proposals to delegates of Libya's two conflicting sides attending the AU conference, urging the two sides to follow AU's road map to halt hostilities and start talks immediately.
In its peace plan, the AU suggested that the timeframe for negotiations between the Libyan government and rebels should be limited to a maximum of 30 days unless the parties to the talks decide otherwise, and that the international community should help to facilitate the process.
The AU proposals also include enforcing an arms embargo inside Libya till the end of the transitional period and implementing necessary reforms to meet the legitimate demands of the Libyan people, including organizing elections under international monitoring.
However, the AU proposal does not touch upon the departure of Libyan leader Muammar Al Qathafi, which is the precondition set by the Libyan opposition to achieve a ceasefire.
10h/ Libyan rebels rejected Sunday an African Union (AU) peace plan to end the ongoing conflicts in the North African country, insisting that any settlement should be based on the immediate resignation of Libyan leader Muammar Al Gaddafi.

From Strategic thinking to concrete Actions

The indictment at International Criminal Court against Col. Muammer Qaddafi and his family appears to be ill intentioned and is the work of imperialistic design. We support the rule of the Law but not on the behest of those who are not even the signatory to international Court. The worlds human body is well aware of the scheming and conniving of same old Colonial powers and Oppressors of Africa. We condemn the armed rebelliousness anywhere regardless it is in Libya or Pakistan. We believe in non-violence democratic struggle only and we do condemn any foreign intervention in to the internal affairs of any country including Libya. The incitement of armed rebelliousness is a crime and all those who have caused this human tragedy and ethnic cleansing of Dark skin Libyans and atrocities committed against supporters of the state of Libya are the one should be prosecuted.

*   It is patently clear nowadays that the ICC is a tool in the hands of NATO - a cynical tool which bases itself on the pseudo-precept that it follows the law, a manipulative organism which twists legal principles and applies them with two weights and measures. What is amazing, is that those behind the ICC and NATO think that the public will believe them.http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article28471.htm
20h/  Tomorrow will be a meeting between NATO and Russia. One of the major theme of the meeting will be "The crisis in Libya" and NATO's responsibility for the implementation of resolution 1970 and 1973. Moscow still believes that the only chance for stabilizing the situation in Libya is immediate ceasefire and the beginning of a dialogue between the conflicting parties.
19h/   Villages around the capital Tripoli are preparing for a possible NATO ground invasion, which could happen in the next few days or weeks. The people are very well informed about NATO's goals and clearly that the target is their land and oil.L ibyans will stand and defend every house, every street and will use all available weapons.
18h/ Libyan Ministry of Health published a document about the victims of NATO attacks. Current statistics of civilian victims of NATO bombing of Libya:

14h/   The African Union says its members will not cooperate with the International Criminal Court's arrest warrant for Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi, arguing that the measure jeopardizes efforts to negotiate a peace deal in the war-torn nation. The warrants are "for crimes against humanity," including murder and persecution.Gadhafi has made clear he would not recognize the court's authority.
*       Ghana - We know that Italy has been reluctant in directly participating in the destruction of Libya’s infrastructure and bombing of residential areas, which has killed civilians and reduced to absurdity the West’s claim of being in Libya to solve humanitarian problems.http://vibeghana.com/2011/07/02/libya-at-long-last-commonsense-is-creeping-in/
12h/ Apart from Qatar, none of the Arab League countries has directly involved itself in the military campaign despite their moral support for it. NATO has been egged on by the US’ Obama, Britain’s Cameron, and France’s Sarkozy—all of whom are politically immature and don’t yet know how to handle the first major task in office without creating more problems therefrom.
11h/ President Jacob Zuma will attend a meeting of the International Contact Group on Libya in the Russian Federation today.

11h/  the US is now engaged in hostile actions in at least five Muslim countries, including Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen and Libya. Own up to the fact that War Powers legislation, created to ensure accountability between the executive and legislative branches, is being discursively disregarded and disembowelled. And own up to the fact that the "responsibility to protect" is increasingly about protecting economic interests, and not primarily civilian innocents. http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/cifamerica/2011/jul/02/libya-usforeignpolicy
